I bet Target is passing on the cost of their failure in Canada to their customers. That's a total dick move if you ask me.

Looking at JP movie line, the dino/gyro sphere set looks almost big enough to squeeze a Infinite hero Prof Zoom in there to recreate the time machine from the Flash tv show, or a customized Injustice Flash.

They only made ONE and it was a prize given to a lucky person.

Just thought maybe that one person might be on here. Wonder if winner still has it or what they did with it. I'm hoping its in a loving home but fear its in a dump somewhere.

What the hell is up with the evergreen line its looks like bane gave everyone a variation of venom to use. Joker looks like he's hit the gym for decades and now the latest single carded scarecrow looks all super beefy. In all honesty I hope if they do more DVDs the at least explain all the jacked up roid rage villians

I have some of these figures: The 5 POA Batman and both versions of the Joker (Rockabilly Hair and 'Roided, as I nickname them). I like them because of the fact they are outrageous and clearly meant for boys to play with.

That said, I really wish the Unlimited line would have a few female characters: Catwoman, Harley, Batgirl and Poison Ivy would be all we would need (and there has never been a 4" Ivy). But these animated movies probably won't ever feature female heroes or villains. It's 2015 yet toy companies seem to have more hang-ups today about selling female characters to boys than they ever did back in the 80's. Weird!

I predict that the first version of Poison Ivy we'll ever see in the 4" scale will be from ReAction for the Gotham series. Unless the new girls line of DC characters that Mattel will be producing include 4" scale figures.

I like the costume design but the muscle beach body kills it for me

thewriteguy 05-29-2015 02:19 AM

Yeah, he doesn't even look like a scarecrow.

tlasjr 05-29-2015 09:10 AM

I love that Batman villan Long Haired Man in Mask. He really came into his own in the late 80's

I actually kinda want it. Not as Scarecrow, or even to put with my other DC figures, but as a villain for my Mystery Inc. gang of figures.

The Batman Beyond figure is kinda tempting as well. Does anyone know if the red bat that he comes with can be attached to his back to give him his wings?

Nope it does not sadly. Um kinda sad they didn't do something like that or give him another animal instead of the same one I got with the DVD set.

Hurm... I've seen most of the "with pet" figures at a Target but this is new to me. Anyone else new in this wave? I remember we were supposed to be getting Man-Bat at some point....

The evergreen batman line reminds me of that old animated series that was on CW kids called "The Batman." It really seems to fit that aesthetic.

I kinda miss the Joker from that. They made him a much more acrobatic circus clown and it really worked for the characterization. The acrobatics really kind of played up an aspect of tight rope walking without a net that meshed to Joker's personality so wonderfully that I've been wanting to see that aspect approached on the big screen.

snake5289 05-30-2015 10:54 AM

I liked that version of Joker too except for the hair. Too DBZ looking for me. Kevin Michael Richardson nailed the voice though.

That show as a whole seems to get a lot of undeserved criticisms. I loved the first 4 seasons but all the team-ups in the last season were a little eh. The episode that introduces Robin was hands down one of the best introductions for Dick Grayson I think I've ever seen. And as goofy as the premise is The Batman vs Dracula is an awesome movie.
