Catching up (again) here.

Very nice thunderstrike!

Yes pilk, that's the way we do it. Forums are great but when you can actually see another collection/person, it's better for bouncing ideas/ motivation.

A play date, now there is an idea! Haha

Not surprised but still very disappointing about the lack of news at NYCC.

That AIM bot looks suspiciously like a mandroid BAF repaint

Excellent Mephisto custom (but defo not the first, have seen a few others done in our scale)

I collect a number of lines mostly 4 inch scale except for MOTU which only has reaction figures that I cherry pick and honestly the news from NYCC was underwhelming on all of them including Star Wars.

Madame Warlock 10-09-2017 09:44 AM

Are we not even getting a movie Valkyrie for the Thor movie 2 packs? :/

We got a decent one. Why they didnt use the -- and give them a -- ill never understand.
I fixed that quote as it could apply to about 50% of all MU figures.

Wasn't Noir on a Joe buck? Isn't that the first and only time they did that? Couldn't they do that more? Seems like it would work to re-purpose some Joe stuff.

Thor against the Nazis? When was that?

Noir was on a modified WW2 Cap body(a SDCC Ex and later released in the CA:FA line). I think the only MU figures using Joe bodies were Prof X(SDCC ROC Destro) and IM2 Nick Fury(retooled 25th Anniversary Beach Head/Firefly mold).

Il Cattivo 10-09-2017 10:22 PM

tony stark and emil blonsky uses joe bodies.

slim19722 10-09-2017 11:29 PM

And the Hulkbuster/SHIELD troopers that came with Blonsky use Joe bodies. That Filibuster/SHIELD humvee from that same line was a Joe vehicle.

See... there is so much potential for Joe re-uses. I think Joe was a far more consistent line in terms of quality / artic than MU (let's not even mention the accessories...). Would have been nice to see more re-uses.

Jay West 10-10-2017 11:29 AM

I've got an awesome (at least I think it's awesome) Rachel Cole made from a GI Joe Scarlet. I'll see if I can find her and post a pic, but there is no reason why Hasbro could not have done what I have.
