The new X-Force Deadpool looks fine, but there was the other one that came out a few years back. I have him, not sure if I'll replace him with this one.

I thought Venompool was the gamestop exclusive.

There were a few remaining Lokis and Odinsons but the rest of the wave was wiped. Goddammit. I can never tell if it's scalpers or if this shop is just REALLY popular with toy collectors for some reason.

Went to TRU today at opening, and all they had was ONE movie Thor....that's it. I asked them if that was all they got in and they said yes....I'm not even sure how that's possible....

went to my local figure store, it was either between the Thing (select) or Dr. Doom (select) guess who i chose? i did see Ryu (storm) it looked awesome, i even compared it to SH Figuarts, it makes SHF look like crap lol. also saw bumbleBee MP but they had it at a high price (80 bucks)

If they told you that then they are telling you a lie. I've never seen a tru only get partial cases let alone one figure.

Here comes the retail employee conspiracy theory storm that hits the thread once a month...

For the record, having been a receiving clerk at TRU for nearly 2 years when I was younger...

1. Yes...TRU does get partial cases of product, usually leftovers from Express stores or other stores that swap merch with other stores to help handle overages.

2. Yes...stores can receive a shipment of one (1) figure thanks to online shopping and the "local pick up" feature. Often at times, many orders are not picked up for whatever reason, meaning the store will place the item back on the shelf if the computer registers a refund for that item at some point during the day when inventory numbers are processed.

3. There is a degree of human error that can occur when the "local pick-up" orders are placed. If the receiving clerk doesn't properly pull from his manifest, or a cashier mistakes it for a go back...it will return to the shelf unless someone does their due diligence or is psychic. I've seen it happen dozens of times.

4. Stores will often get returns from customers as well from other stores...meaning that literally was the only one they got in.

Either one of these four scenarios happened, or the employee was just telling you that to get you off of his butt so he can continue on with his work day. While there are a lot of people who do not care whether or not a customer service, it is not in their benefit to turn away customers if they have product in the back. Store employees can lose hours or shifts if a customer asks for a product and they do not check for it, only for it to be found in the warehouse if the customer makes a stink about it to management. It truly indicts them that they were not doing their job, and usually there is very little you can do to defend yourself from a ticked off manager in that situation.

Pre Order as soon as they get a Sku for it. I pre order a bunch of figures from the GS in town and have never really had any problems. The one time I did recently the store contacted the home office and they ended up sending a whole case of the Star Wars Black R5-D4 exclusive. I had pre ordered 3 and they had sent 2 when it was released.

Found a Adam Warlock a week ago !! i was pleasantly suprised to find it near me considering it's been mighty dry with newer releases the past few months.


Can anyone recommend some good figure stands for legends? i have currently a few of the neca circular clear stands, but they don't really work for all of them. i have also been considering their flight stands for the characters that could fly, however i was getting crazy and thinking of putting them ALL of some sort of stands. i get tired of figures toppling over... im sure you guys have dealed with it numerous times as well.

For flight stands, Neca's or Obitsu stands work great. If you just want something that pegs into their feet for static poses, check eBay. Many of the Chinese sellers sell the old Hasbro Marvel Legends stands that used to connect to one another for fairly cheap prices. Usually you can get them in bundles of ten or twenty for under 20 dollars.
