I purchased Boomerrang for 22 bucks in Toys R US....what a waste. The paint job was all over the place, it looks like they inserted his boomerang holder on his back before his paint dried and left eircular imprints. The paint job reminds me of the X-Men boxset which is another disaster.
Aye, Hasbro, 22 bucks down the drain, I guess he becomes customizer fodder.....I think the quitting point for Legends will be the $25 dollar mark btw. The new packaging cost 5 bucks or so as more companies do packaging for me. I notice Vaseline did a Mens line, bottled in black and the price of item went up. Any how, Boomerang looked nice in the box now I shove him back into another. |
I must just be able to get the Marvel X-Men set at Toys R Us...I forgot they have Layaway. A buddy of mine put a ton of Transformers for his son's birthday coming up in 2 months. It's a 90 day layaway.

okay so x-men figs are hitting TRU in June, not sure if that includes UK, hope it does...
anyway this the order i think figures will go quick in. Stryfe , Storm , Cyclops, Magneto then unmasked Wolverine I just wanna pre-pare myself for the TRU X-men what are your thoughts of my order |
actually I think Storm will sell out before Stryfe because females tend to sell well despite what Hasbro believes and she has most of Jubilee. I also think Magneto will go before Cyke but definitely agree Logan will warm pegs.
|
Yes, Storm first, then Mags or Styrfe - depending on paint etc, then Cyke and Logan.
Did I read it here, or somewhere else that these will be at TRU and distributed by Diamond as well? Either way, I'm hoping it's true, as I'd rather just wait until my LCS gets them and I don't care if I need to wait until September. I still haven't picked up the Original X-Men set and I'm not sure I will, for all the reasons we've beaten to death lol, if it ever went 50% off it's still a maybe. I hope to get my hands on the SDCC set, the Jubilee wave and the GotG wave, in that order of importance. I also hope they drop some announcements on 'MIA' figs at the con as well as some new stuff not yet seen. Hasbro and Funko are going to bleed me dry this summer (but I'll go along with a smile on my face lol) |

I hope these start showing up at TRU soon.

Odd request but does anyone have the extra elektra legends head that wouldn't mind letting her go? I got an elektra off eBay and it came with everything but the head, and I wanted to make Elektra agent of shield from the What if story.

The only way that kind of thing can be done is if those people/businesses do exactly as Exodus suggested in his other post. I'm not saying all e-tailers do it, of course, but there are some out there. Quote:

Search Ross Barrow on Facebook.
Dude has a bunch of legit Agent Coulson customs for $35 shipped. They come with ID Badge and Captain America cards. http://imageshack.com/a/img834/4686/4dmfh.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img844/8349/cj68.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img843/4852/hztk6.jpg |
Thats the DC Movie suit buck with the horrible t-crotch. Blech!
Are those just Harvey Dent with a resin head perhaps? |

I am fairly certain I'll be able to nab a Stryfe. But if you do change your mind, get the case and want to sell him off I would be interested. |
Speaking of Marvel movies, Legends line manager, Dwight Stall was asked why Hasbro weren’t doing figures around X-Men: Days of Future Past. His answer, “We never said we weren’t doing that”. Hmmm…
Not sure if you guys saw this quote from the Fwoosh from one of the toy fair shows. Maybe now that DOFP is a hit they will still work on some legends from the movie. Now that I've seen it, I want figures bad! |

At $30 each - Yeesh! This price will drive some to quit ML, and that's never a good thing. It's no surprise that big retail aren't going to carry this wave, they wouldn't move at whatever price they'd need to charge.
On the happy side, Storm looks great and I'll be happy to add her and the rest to my ever growing ML collection. I can't tell from the pictures, but is Stryfe on a larger body? I'm hoping he's a bit on the taller side... |
hmmm cases of 8 you say ? [likely the one stores are buying] might need to grab storm and magneto quickly for BAF parts
