I go to both usually weekly. I did go to a out of the way Tesco on Wednesday and found 2 Star Wars 3.75" First Order Stormtroopers.... Score. The lad had 8 and now we are at 10. Jobs a goodun'

Gonna get a Collector for his kit, slap it on a spare DD buck I have and I'm pretty much at a Mephesto. Then at some point get the whole set to have a Collector and a Lockjaw.

Jackieboy 07-02-2016 06:29 AM

hey guys, been a while,so ive decided to carry on torturing myself and stay in the game, lol.pms sent to those who pmed me.
managed to fill a bunch of holes, and find the latest stuff,im disappointed in the drop in articulation, looking at them with older figures they stand well but for posing???some are very limited they even dropped wrist articulation.but again they do look great better than the IM3 5PA and avengers. AOU travesties!!!getting a red onslaught next week cant wait to have first form onslaught!!!
@ukmu gamora wave is on retail here,so id imagine its already in london, liverpool and other major cities!!!
ill try get some snaps up,forgot that its not as straight forward as just uploading a pic to the thread o.O

Collector is already on a Daredevil buck.

How do I best go about getting the Black Panther/Agent 13 set in Ireland? I'm sort of stuck here. Shipping from the US is crazy these days.

Jackieboy 07-03-2016 11:43 AM

Ask a US collector to grab one for you, someone you trust.
just gonna have to bite the bullet and pay the shipping if you want it boxed.

I bit the bullet - paid beaucoup pounds for mine so hope it was worth it. Need this pack and the Falcon to finish off my CW figures.

Jackieboy 07-03-2016 05:17 PM

@sithlord1963 for the black panther alone its worth it but id just bide my time and wait till he pops up loose on someones BTS.

If they turn up in the UK I'm happy to pick one up for you, no sign yet though.

Always the gamble, it might turn up if you wait, if it doesn't you'll end up paying more.

I think on balance though the UK does quite well on TRU exclusives.

An actual DD so he has red joints. Just a simple cover of the chest logo and done.

ukmu 07-05-2016 01:12 AM

Jackieboy!!!! I assumed you were just in prison for assault for some reason!! ;) good to see you back. Too many are leaving the game these days. I don't see why the need to bow out if someone is unhappy with the current state of it all. Great time to army build, build a diorama, buy figure stands, make or buy customs. Also, most of us have some figures that is eve missed to go back and get.

I get it that a lot of us are upset at the price and articulation but character selection has never been better!!! Some random ass figures been dropping lately. I for one am quite glad for most of them. (Rage?!?!?! Definitely a top shelf b lister on my list) And the paint apps have NEVER been better for 3.75" figures from any line from any company from any time period in my opinion.

That said, the HASBRO/MARVEL/3.75" contract ends in about 19 months so we could be at the end anyway. Time will tell in 2018 if Hasbro carries on, drops it or someone new runs with it. Exciting prospect of someone new- but we will have to have the initial waves of Wolverine, Captain America, Cyclops, Punisher and the lot. Hasbro carries on is nice -but more of the same bad stuff I fear. Hasbro drops it sounds sad - but maybe better to burn out than fade away. Whatever way it goes... I'll be there.

Got my set today, Yay!!!!

Agent 13 is the only MCU version I think we'll get so kind of happy with her, but the gunbelt/holster rig doesn't sit properly.

Panther looks great in the packaging BUT take him out and he comes out short which is kind of what I feared TBH compared to the CW Cap (which IMHO is the best representation to date of a MCU Cap figure, even with the 'monkey' hands). Boseman and and Evans are the same height (6 feet) so going to need a bit of Custom work (thinking a couple of mm in the thighs) and want to add swivel wrists.

Didn't get these 'cheap' and glad I have them but kind of resenting the fact that I'm struggling to remember the last time I purchased a 'stock' figure that didn't need to be modded/customised in some way or other (either correcting a paintjob or adding missing articulation).

S'up

Hi all, just registered as a new user so thought I’d introduce myself and give a friendly hello. I’m a MU collector based in the UK (hence my introduction on this thread), and thought it’d be good to connect with fellow MU enthusiasts and general 3.75” collectors like myself!
I’ve been collecting for just over 6 years now, this having intensified over the last few. To give you an idea where I’m coming from - I’m a MIB collector of mostly MU, some reaction and just started getting into Boss Fight (once they make it available over here). I’m no customiser, though I admire those who do like some of the amazing work I’ve seen on here.
It’s a weird time to join when the line seems to be floundering, but you know, we can share the misery ;)

Jackieboy 07-06-2016 02:07 PM

hey welcome on board newguy, hopefully you enjoy toyark.lots of cool arkers here who collect 3.75" dont be afraid to join in on discussions and pics!!!

ukmu 07-06-2016 02:44 PM

LOVE the Doombot army!!!!

Welcome welcome welcome!!! Always nice to have fresh blood here. It reinvigorates us all. I've been a bit stale and grumpy, but your presence can help spark the flame!!! Welcome indeed.

Post some pics when you can.

ukmu 07-06-2016 02:45 PM

Are BOSS FIGHT coming here? The shipping is MORE than figures.... I want access to them so bad!

Boredman 07-06-2016 02:51 PM

Thanks guys, appreciate it. I'll try and get some pictures sorted soon!

All the Cool Stuff should be stocking them. I picked up the Amazonian Warrior exclusive from them and they said hopefully they'll be stocking them in the summer. So soon, fingers crossed. Be great not to pay insane postage and customs charges....

Sithlord1963 07-06-2016 02:59 PM

I'll echo UKMU here - if the Bossflight figs become available over here, especially at reasonable prices, I can see Customisers being all over them, especially the male/female 'blank' figures. Now if only somebody did male/female suited figures in this scale (Prof X is prohibitively expensive and I'm not the only one who's had QC issues with Vortious parts - his heads however are great).

Jackieboy 07-06-2016 03:43 PM

been checking out bossfights work,if he gets into ninjas im in.
hoping to see that groot getting a release as a 3 pack.lockjaw will complete ze inhumans for me.
id love to see moleculeman, sasquatch, kingpin, franklin richards/valeria,forge,all getting released.
