Articulated Icons figs are on sale for Black Friday..
i picked up a few today I've wanted for awhile but had never pulled the ole' trigger...

Went to a local video game store (that has old games and a few collectibles here and there) last night to see what they had for early Black Friday. They had a B1G1 1/2 off on toys and collectibles, but then I found 3 things I wanted, so he said he'll do a B2G1 Free deal for me, so I got all 3 for the price of 2! I've never seen that Boba Fett or that Sweet Tooth Pop in the wild before!

Amazon deals...Harley was $20 the funko primal age was 20% off if you spend $100. Glad I am opening these the figure packaging is rough but the batcave is in perfect condition.

I picked up the MAFEX Robocop roughly two weeks ago, but after the chaos of the holidays and a new baby entering the family, I finally had a chance to sit down with it, and color me impressed.

When initial in hand images began surfacing online of the figure, I was a little worried that the final product would be nothing like the production shots, however, I'm happy to say that he exceeds all my expectations, and is honestly everything I ever wanted in a Robocop figure. The paint work is gorgeous, and despite the sculpt, the figure is able to strike a number of great poses (including many of his iconic poses) that no Robocop figure has ever been able to strike to date thanks to some forward thinking with the joints. The figure hits that sweet spot in scale, and works nearly perfectly with most 6 inch figure scales including Marvel Legends.

The faces do exhibit that pixelated look that face printed figures tend to have, but in hand, it's much less noticeable than the photos online tend to show, and honestly, outside the Hot Toys figure, this is as good as it's gonna get.

About the only thing I could find gripes about is the battle damaged chest plate, which doesn't sit flush on the chest like the undamaged one, but I can't tell if that's a flaw or if it's by design. I wasn't planning on displaying it with him anyways, so it's not a big deal. Point is, if you were on the fence about him, I can't recommend him enough!

What.....?! No removeable helmet? Its rubbish. ;) haha. He may be one of my future purchases.....next year when i have money to send haha.

That Robocop is more articulated than the real life Robocop!

That Robocop is dopeAF, definitely going to pick him up if I see him at a convention.

He can throw a standing side kick if you work the joints just right. It's pretty rad...

Pretty solid actually. The plastic doesn't feel or look cheap, joints are all tight, I've swapped out the hands a couple of times and no breakage or stressed plastic. Weapons seem fragile but not brittle like they're going to break at the slightest touch. Size and style-wise this guy fits in really well with the Marvel Select figures.
