Has anybody seen the Marvel vs Capcom pack in the states yet? Or is this gonna be another IM2 Widow situation?

snake5289 11-04-2017 03:42 PM

I haven't been to a Target in months but I've seen some on eBay. Wouldn't recommend those though since they were pretty pricey.

And in some pretty happy MU news just ordered the Spider-Man 2099 from the last batch of figures. Yeah maybe not the best figure in the line but Miguel has always been one of my favorites and that costume really grew on me. I'm probably going to get the AoA Magneto some time down the line too.

Do it, he's the only new one I got but he's so worth the wait to me. If you don't mind that it's his AoA costume (I happen to love it) then I'd say it's possibly the best Magneto in our scale aside from the modern reduced articulation scheme.

snake5289 11-04-2017 05:18 PM

Neat. I was going to try and give him the Secret Wars Magneto head for a more classic version though.

Check the target in your city I saw it there a while back... or the ones near it. I haven’t seen them sell, just can’t bring myself to drop $20 on megaman, I probably have about 10 of those iron man mark 3s (I think that’s what that is). I really wish hasbro wouldn’t have screwed the pooch and packed a proper venom, your orange Hulk, or an articulated rocket or dormammu. My pick would have been venom vs nemesis or ryu.

snake5289 11-04-2017 05:47 PM

I was really pulling for a *insert character here* vs Dante and/or Chris Redfield pack myself.

Strider...just give me strider

Captain Taiga 11-04-2017 10:26 PM

What do yall have for Capcom 3.75 figures other than this new Megaman X?
I got one of those Jazwares Ryu's that came with Sagat that they used to sell at Toys R Us, and a Takara Microman Chun-Li. I also have some Monster Hunters with the right armors from the game, but I dont know the brand name, they came from blind boxes from a while back too

snake5289 11-04-2017 10:37 PM

I have that same Ryu and I made my own RE5 Chris using Joe and MU parts.

Can't think of anything else but most of my figures are boxed up right now.

and adding injury to insult they took away one peg of the ML 3.75"
ironically they also have a video games collectible area in the electronics department
I also saw a new to me collectibles area that has Funko items near the sports collectibles.

Confirmed. Just picked one up for that price. Iron Man figures in our scale should just get marked down as soon as they're put on the shelf.

Cheers, I haven't been to one in a while, but had not heard anybody talking about it showing up outside of Europe yet. Then again, it's not really anything special in retrospect I guess so most people ignored it. Out of all the things Hasbro's dropped the ball on, this is the one that hurts me the most.
