i disagree. i guess its different over here in the east coast.

Purple Man being in the center of it all kinda makes the scenario a lot clearer - Frank's being mentally forced.

Thankfully, a friendly neighborhood web-head seems to be on the case. So long as he knows how to get into that window properly.

Maybe, but it's always seemed like a personal preference thing, not east coast/west coast. Bottom line is, no one's really in any position to tell someone else how to enjoy their toys that they spent their own money on. I'm not down with MISB collecting, but I'm not gonna crap on anyone who is, and I'd hope the same would be in reverse.

I've recently answered one of your questions, but I normally avoid that sort of activity. The reason for my reluctance in engaging with you falls along two separate (but related) lines of thought. First: I don't believe you're anywhere near as naive as you pretend to be. Second: I believe you/your persona/screen name is a pseudonym and you're actually another 'regular/older' poster. Those two are related in that they are both the activities of a 'troll.'

However, I'm just as prone as anyone else to being wrong about any variety of things. In the event that you're barely aware of anything comic related (and not a 'troll'), I'll answer your post by telling you to google the Purple Man (specifically, his powers) and inform you that Jon Bernthal was cast as a punk-ass hired gun in the employ of Lonnie Lincoln...

The Peter Parker head with the beard on the Coulson body reminds me of Hans Grubar.

You hit the nail on the head there TBM!

I found some old Red Hulk wave figures at my comic shop. Was the black-suited Spidey from that series any good?

Any chance there's a Spiral that doesn't cost a kidney?

Sadly no. Symbiote Spider-Man, Warlock and Wolverine.

Gotta love a villain team-up! Also, it's amazing how much variety those suit bodies offer with a simple head-swap.:D

Bill is probably too popular of a character for them to put only in an SDCC exclusive, so they probably wouldn't have done that unless Beta Ray Bill were in the Thor Ragnarok wave.

Oh my god, I love that gif so much. Everything he does there is so unnecessary.

SymbiSpidey 08-15-2017 06:33 PM

So to my surprise TRU actually ended up getting Dark Phoenix/Cyclops back in stock and honored my backorder so...YAY!

Unfortunately this means I'm dead broke. But if I have to deal with eating bread and drinking water for the next week in order to get my figs...worth it :D

Not just that, but webbing it didn't help break it either. If anything, from what we know of Spidey's webbing, it should have reinforced it, making it harder to break. There's multiple levels to how pointless everything that happens in that gif is, and I love it.

Went out on my normal route run....found nothing I needed but I did see remnants of the Thor and Netflix wave. No Hela, BLade or Elektra but did see everyone else. My highlight was finding out that there's a LOTR Balrog for Funko Pops and it. Must. Be. Mine.

Sad tale though, this lady with her looked to be 8 year old kid was looking through the figures and saw me looking as well, she asked if did I know where I could find the spider-man movie figures. I did point to the non-legends but she said she got her kid one of the bunch but he wanted more. Told her I was sorry but I couldn't help her, really the best bet is online - reinforces the point that it's freaking ridiculous that a huge movie like Homecoming has been out over a month now and the wave for those figures are still nearly impossible to find.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Hasbro's going to start doing so many waves they need to get some kind of better organization together, as do retailers, in order to ensure that the waves actually make it to the shelves. There's no logic to creating waves that 90% of the product essentially becomes online purchases simply because brick and mortar are so swamped on similarly coded product they don't order any. Changing the brand code for each wave would help somewhat...I can't figure out why they can't figure that out (or they just don't care.)

REally? I hope you aren't serious, but just in case:

1. Punisher would do that if Purple Man told him to.
2. That's not Punisher, that's just some dude.

Only casually picking up random Legends figures nowadays, and like always, had mod ideas pop in my head. Nothing wrong with the Odinson or comic Blade figures, but I wanted updated versions for these looks more. Shot out to Hasbro for still cranking out the easy to work with base bodies to make customs like these easy.

Robb 08-16-2017 09:04 AM

Just got my Thor set from when they put the stuff up early. It is a very good looking set.

SymbiSpidey 08-16-2017 09:08 AM

So out of curiosity I checked the Walgreens computer for Human Torch's release date. He should start hitting Walgreens September 22nd (the day after my birthday :D).

Still though, I'm gonna need Hasbro to release Reed and Ben like...now lol.
