Saw Aquaman on Saturday, and decided to hit the brick and mortars earlier that day. I've been meaning to pick up Manta and Orm, but haven't pulled the trigger. Wanted the Trencher, but didn't want to buy the other two. Ended up seeing all four of them at Walmart and since the hype train was in full motion, just grabbed all of them. They're all actually really great. Thinking about swapping JL Mera head with the new body though. The Trench Warrior is easily my favorite of the bunch though. Really hoping that they pull a Hasbro and release the BAF as it's own figure in the future.

I still need to pick up the rest of the Aquaman movie figures. Only have Aquaman right now and I sooo want to finish the Trench figure.

I started collecting Transformers again when I was seventeen and Beast Wars was circulating, and have done so without any breaks or lapses. I can now say that I have seen the mountain top of collecting them, and it is a transforming stick of deodorant.

They're so tiny and weird, I love it. Even smaller than the old Happy Meal guys that transformed into burgers and stuff.

Found the Bumblebee G1 re-release at Walmart tonight for my girlfriend for Christmas. She prefers the Camaro version of Bee but she has 1 of the other VW versions. I wanted her to have a G1 for her collector shelves at my place.

I didn't take a pic but I picked up the Black Series Gamorrean Guard from Dorkside today.

First, I would recommend spraying the entire figure with a white primer. I'm not sure how well gold covers but if it's like silver, then it will be difficult to keep the color underneath from showing through.

Second, I wouldn't mess with masking tape. In my experience, it's time consuming and rarely produces a factory clean edge. Take some small, fine tipped paint brushes to carefully paint the edges and a larger, flat head brush to paint the big areas.
