He was part of ToyBiz's Legendary Heroes waves after they lost the Marvel license to Hasbro. It consisted mostly of indie comic characters from Top Cow, Image, and 2000AD. Their Judge Dredd figure is still one of my faves all time.

ahhh...now that wave makes sense...thnx

glad i had no vested interest in Pitt or i'd be droolin over that and searching ebay now... don't think i've seen a Pitt comic in like 25years

Possibly, I did try that but it's very loose and flops down so it looks like it's falling out of his holster rather than zooming around. Plus all the loops and turns in the energy trail look nice but don't make too much sense when in reality it would have traveled only a few feet from Yondu. It's a nice idea and I like the accessory itself but I haven't been able to make it look convincing yet.

If you think about it, most of the line-up for this wave feels like a series of 2-packs.

Cloak/Dagger
Spidey/Doc Ock
Daredevil/Elektra

Monkeyman was a good figure too, but since the question was completed BAF and mine is missing an arm and a leg, I didn't include him.

Which leg? I have the one from Ann O'Brien collecting dust in my spare parts bin

We're on the verge of keeping Titus because of his similarity to Battle Beast from Invincible. (My wife has been reading that comic from the beginning and loves everything about it)

Quick question. The Walmart exclusive Black Panther figure, when it originally went up for sale was it the normal $20 price for Marvel Legends? I missed it at the time and now it is available again but it's going for $45 direct from Walmart.

The figure should only be $20. What's happening there is probably courtesy of Walmart letting sites like Toywiz that are notorious for jacking up their prices buy spots on their site.

Pretty much this. I've had this thing on my amazon wishlist for 2-3 months now but it has never gone below $30 but not over $50. It is a nice figure, but since it's a character we have had several versions of, both MCU and comic, of which I own two, I'm not going to buy it for more than $25 before reasonable shipping and tax. less would be ideal. It would be different if we had no other Black Panthers ever released.

That is what I was thinking, it just seemed unusual to me that the description says that it is being sold and shipped by Walmart. Usually when Toywiz or one of the other companies are involved it will mention that company and it will be unavailable for store pickup. I'm glad that I'm not desperate to have that figure.

With all the talk of BAFs, does anyone have the Man-thing parts from Daredevil and Punisher and the Build-a-wing pieces from Tombstone and Beetle?

I love that photo. Pitt was so amazing that I got him twice. Honestly, BAFs were somewhat cheap compared to today, 3-4 years ago. You could reasonably get Pitt and Sentinels for 50-60. Now, no way Jose.

I love Pitt's size. WHile other BAFS were tall, Pitt was wide. I loved...LOVE his figure to death. TO quote/paraphrase Glen Webb, "If I could save one figure from a burning house, which would it be?"

My answer would be "Pitt!"

Non spoiler for the movie. It really felt this movie had no story to tell outside SL. Every character seemed to just take up space and not necessary for the story.

I love Kurt Russel, shame we couldn't get his non Santa look.

So i know i asked a few weeks back about figure stands. now after doing some research, i was wondering are any of these stands available to purchase by the bulk? like say 5 to 10 or whatever.

when i say figure stands, im thinking something to similar the Neca stands or some of the stands that would make a figure appear to be hovering or flying.

they look like something i'd like to try, do you have any actual experience using these? what's your thoughts on them ?

Charliegone 08-19-2017 08:00 PM

I've searched high and low and I simply cannot find the 2 Pack ML Dark Phoenix Pack at ANY TRU anywhere around my area. Even pass the 50 miles radius I can't find anything anywhere...stinks.

Do not buy that set. Those are Obitsu stands or something similar. I got 10 of them a year or so back from Hobby Link Japan for maybe 5 bucks more than that.

They only have the black shaded ones listed right now and those are $2.25US + shipping. Still cheaper than that set on Amazon. If nothing else, just watch their site for the clear ones to show back up.

last time i was in TRU(about 2 weeks ago)...i saw like 8 of them.
..and i'm always down to grab something for an (established) Arker because Arkers have done it for me...
let me know if you want me to see if they are still there..
it's like 8 min from my home.

I hate to jump on this because it wasn't offered to me but I figured I'd chime in and risk looking foolish anyway. :o I'd really like to find this set too. I haven't seen it here in the Pensacola area at all. So if anyone wouldn't mind helping, I'd gladly pay and would really appreciate it.

EDIT: The A-Force set is back in stock on toysrus.com!
