You should be, there are a lot of greaet figures in the Joe line that mix in well with MU.

TheDub 09-20-2012 09:49 PM

It is on topic....cuz I don't do joes. I would buy them to be MU villians.

Scythe 09-20-2012 09:50 PM

Loophole!

Tiberius 09-20-2012 09:52 PM

Yes...Joes make perfeect MU villains...yes....on topic.

Fuck it.

I like mashed taters.

Actually it isn't. I have both and while they do look the same initially, they are actually different sculpts. The 4" one has proportionally longer legs due to the hip joints. It's a more lanky figure. The 6" one has more balanced proportions aside from the wider hips. However the hips are of a different design(not the 45/90 degree hips that are inserted at an angle).

As to MU, BBTS is shipping out the "one of each" cases for wave 19 this week.

TheDub 09-21-2012 05:53 AM

Does that mean one bag head one FF spidey?

The new one I'm going to has MU... common ones like Ghost Rider are $14.95, others are like $19.95. They've got up-side down Beast and Miles marked as "variants" for $24.95. Only place I've seen Wave 18 so far btw :(

That's how comic shops are by me. There are two that I'll stop into every once in a while and both are pretty close to eBay prices for everything.

Since they canned the movie last summer after the toy line hit stores, I'd be willing to bet that you'll have a chance at getting them all again next year when they finally release the movie.

That's a steal. Which black Spidey is that? I thought they all had some sort of blue or purple ish shading on them? I like that one.

You mean the W18/19 + Juggy, and Colossus cases? I just got my shipping email. Man I can't wait till Monday, or Tuesday. I really hope it gets here Monday so I have a day or so to play w/ them before I have to go back to work Tuesday night.

They did not :( Its too bad that LUB Iron Man looks so mustardy too. They should have gone less on the Thor/Iron Man and done that Hawkeye.

It's just the paint job. Looks the best IMO, but Hasbro is still pushing that stupid pin head on us. The Chris Evans head looks good on it though.

Yeah that head is too small. I'm waiting for a 616 Cap as articulated as the Steve Rogers figure.

Secret Wars, that's why I like him. I don't like the blue stuff on the single pack. I looked up how much miles is on ebay. As much as the damn bag spidey. I want him in my MU collection. I've got so many spiderman figures already. I might as well pick him up. And the damn House of M spidey

Thanks Premix. I do appreciate the inconvenience.

FancyPants 09-21-2012 01:01 PM

Took a pic of my completed Future Foundation team. I like having both spiderman figures there.

Cool picture fancypants. I went hunting today and had a pretty good haul. Picked up 2 future foundation packs, future foundation spidey, 2 kangs, scarlett witch, ghost rider, she-hulk, and masterpiece transformers thundercracker. Got them at two tru's. Check out my post on the marvel bst thread for what I have available.

Scarlett witch and kang will go to local sd arker tsweet. Going to make a red she hulk or gamora figure. I haven't decided which one I want to do

I still have my original SW Black Spidey from when I was a kid. I remember that being a pretty controversal figure back in the day. "What?! He wears a black suit now!"

The MU SW Black Spidey is going for no less than low $20's on eBay right now, so I'm going to hold. Squirtle is hooking me up with a House of M Spidey.

Killer haul, man. I just grabbed T-Cracker earlier this week. Then last night TRU emails me a $10 off anything coupon so I went over today to get another (which I'd then return to another on my way home from work tonight with my full price receipt), but of course they were all gone. Even the price tag on the shelf was gone.

I wonder how the Cap movie line Cap (ot USAgent) upper torso looks on the Rogers body? You could, in theory, use the upper torso, head and gloves from the Cap figure and repaint the rest of the Rogers body.....you'd just have to sculpt on the boot tops.
