The question is why? I keep beating a dead horse, X-Men is Marvel's most popular brand, is Hasbro just cost cutting. No more movie figures because they save money on licenses? If so Legends need to cost way less.

No Sentinels base on the movie is a bummer. So many DOFP character looked awesome and we were denied without explanation from Hasbro.

i mean okay we have a guardians movie out in August which i presume we'll see GOTG figs ... Then what ?

I think its just that x-men movie 6" lines from toybiz and the X3 Mls performed so poorly they didn't see it worth the risk. FC didnt ge toys, and Origins/TheWolverine both only got small toys.

I think that if Hasbro makes more comic based mutant figures, they will sell. Stryfe will be very popular in this upcoming wave, and maybe they all will, who knows? A new Cable, Bishop, Rogue, Blink, Beast, Toad, Avalanche, Iceman, Colossus, etc etc, would do very well on new bodies. Maybe some New Mutants while they're at it, Sunspot, Magik, Cannonball, Warlock...to name some.

I don't think black leather worked before, and I don't think it would work on a second try (with the exception being a customizer's joy). So, with Wolverine Legends and the new X-Men wave coming up, I think we may be seeing exactly what Hasbro can do with the fans' wants and what they think will sell.

And yes, Polaris, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Moonstar..........

I think First Class and DOFP lines would do very well.

Licensing doesn't work that way. Hasbro still has to pay Marvel for making toys based on Marvel's characters whether they were in a movie or not.

Movie toys would just mean licensing fees that Hasbro might have to pay to the movie studio and to the actors (depending on the contracts involved) in addition to what they already pay Marvel.

As if they owe you one. :p

I imagine that SDCC will probably answer that question.

I thought these were hitting TRU in June? Why the delay until August for BBTS? Just takes time to get from Diamond to BBTS to customer?

Only in the past few months have I noticed that WM,Target,TRU and KMart are getting ML before online retailers, I'm not sure on why the shift, but I know it makes for some of us to go out and get them.

My LCS likely won't have the new X-Men until September (Canada eh?), but I can live with that. It makes me happy that I won't be at TRU every day for 3 weeks trying to find Storm.

I'm the kind of person who can't wait. I know if I order these and have to wait until Aug/Sep. I will find and buy them in June. I guess I could always cancel the pre-order huh.

Just let me know when these hit TRU.com so I can get them from there:) Then I can cancel my BBTS order, although getting Cyclops for 13 isn't too bad...

It seems like that little blip of ML at Burlington/TJ Maxx/Ross is over as quick as it started. I have seen any new stuff in about 2 weeks.

Yeah but it was good while it lasted. I did find a few for my collection. Hopefully more will trickle in next month or so.

No doubt, I got all of the Terrax and Arnim Zola Wave, and handful others. Not bad for around $8-9 a pop. Pretty happy about that. Was hoping to nab a Jean Grey or Angel from Hit Monkey. No luck.
