My Turtles were delivered today, Raph and Donnie were always my favorites so they were the only ones I got. NECA nailed these. I'm not a particularly big TMNT fan but I do really like the Jim Henson turtles and I watched the shit out of the VHS, which I dug out of my closet for this picture.

That movie still holds up so well.
I tried that, only owning two of the brothers. It felt entirely wrong, and I bought up the other two the next day. NECA has been smashing it on the regular, but these figures are particularly good.

The last time time I watched it was a few years ago on Netflix pretty much just to see if I still liked it after so many years of having not seen it. Now I kind of want to watch it again except that VHS is my only copy and I doubt my player still works. These figures are indeed pretty awesome, gnarly, and bitchin' but with all of the other NECA stuff I have/had coming in this month there was no way I would be able to get all 4 even if I wanted to but I'm more than happy to have these two.

Valentine's haul. Saw over a dozen Shazams but only 2 Silvanas. Can't believe it too, Shazam has double jointed elbows as well as knees.

Dammit, I blame you for this. :p I was out getting things for dinner and I figured I'd pop into the local Gamestop just for a quick look, they'd just gotten in sets of the turtles for retail and seeing Mikey and Leo in person I buckled like a belt so now I do have all four.

Stripe and the God of War set also arrived today. It sucks that NECA couldn't give stripe his gun but he still looks great, the left leg on mine has a loose section which isn't helped by the top-heavy design so I've had some issues keeping him standing. I feel like in the absence of his gun they should have thrown in some more candy with Stripe.

The God of War set is pretty great. I think Kratos' screaming head came out really well and either set of the blades of chaos are fantastic. An additional fire effect for the blades would've been nice though, as it is I'd have to improvise one of his rage fires to have both blades burning. Boy came out well given his size, I took his picture with the original Kratos since that's how I'm displaying him.

Yup mondo. Best motu item I own. Joints are stiff at first but don’t feel breakable at all. Stands with out his stand fine. Awesome accessories. Mondo made a new and very pleased customer. First time in years I spent money on motu and thought I actually received more than what I paid for. Oh,and man is he posable. Double knees,double elbows rocker ankles,vintage head and 3 sets of hands. Freaking love it!

I'm not a completist, not even close. It's the strangest thing, almost mystical. I cannot own just one or two of the Turtles. If I'm buying one, I have to get all four.
No other toyline that I can think of does that to me.
