I had this bad boy waiting in the mailbox all weekend. Had a great time hiking the mountains of WNC, that’s some beautiful country.

Faith No more, the darkness and one of my all time favorite games in Dante's Inferno, thats a hell of a haul.

Homecoming is the only Silent Hill game I've played. It was okay but not my cup of tea. Personally I'm more of a Resident Evil guy. Dante's Inferno was pretty good. Could've gone without seeing Lucifer's giant dick dangling around at the end though.

Homecoming and Downpour are easily two of the weakest Silent Hill games. Homecoming seemed to me to cater towards people who had only seen the movie, but some of the bosses were well designed so there's that. Downpour was just a complete disappointment in every regard.

I'd heard that beforehand but it was like $8 so I figured what the hell. It did have some creepy/cool monsters though. And roaming through the town was pretty cool at first but man that got boring pretty quick.

See i thought 3, 4 and the combatless rehash of number one were weak. 2 was good up until the ending. I been playing downpour and i like it so far. Though my faves are number one and origins but im liking downpour. Homecoming is cool but you die way to easily.

King for a day was the only faith no more album i didnt have so now i have the full catalog. And man i was stoked as hell to find icp hells pit. Gotta be my fave album from those crazy juggalos.

Different strokes for different folks, my favorites are just the first three (two being the best) with the admittance that the first has not aged well. Like I mentioned earlier I felt like Homecoming was way too tailored for people who'd seen the movie but played none of the games with a number of the monsters losing their deeper meaning but being tossed in because they were featured in the movie and then mechanically I remember everything being really clunky. Downpour was a complete mess; the black-and-white morality decisions were laughable and if you do nothing but the good ones it raises questions about why the town even lured the guy in. Then there's the fact that the monster designs are hopelessly lazy, easily the worst in the series. At its peak the Silent Hill games provided monsters that made my skin crawl and usually had clever connections to the story or characters, Downpour gave us a couple of dirty people and bat creatures for some reason.
