Kids aren't buying because they aren't impacted as much by these "big" movies as we were. Adults collection are still buying but big toy makers can't figure out how to please nostalgic collectors and kids together.

Yeah it’s hard to compete with iPads and video games, especially at $20 a figure. I’m amazed at how much 6” product is hitting stores these days. I love seeing all the great customs on here but dam it would be nice if we got ONE TENTH the new figures in 3.75” as they pump out in 6”.

Ninjinister 01-22-2018 09:02 PM

What hurts me is we can get like 6 different lines from 3 different companies in the 6" on one property (like say a DC movie), but then when people query about a 3.75" line on that property it's like "oh no we can't, (company that isn't making them in 3.75") has the license."

So they don't secure exclusivity to 6" but they do to 3.75"
And then don't even make them?!

What.
The.
Hell.

People are known to lie when trying to avoid accountability for displaying their stupidity at the expense of the company's reputation.

Great job Sender and nice eye shadow on M.Hydra
Sender yesterday I started my Shield team and bro it is gonna be nice.
That is why I am not on much. About a 13 man squad, and that tank I've posted before. Get ready for badassery to rear his head in a few days and again great job bro.

Sweeeeeeeeeet!

Always looking forward to see your "CREATIONS", Creator.
Plus i dig every single accessory you make & place on your customs. Those alone would take me hours to either find or create. Superb job!

Well Hasbro has to be paying for the rights to 3.75" scale Marvel comic stuff just to "rest" it. That's losing money right there. They should subcontract the license to some company like Kaiyodo, Boss Fight, or Hiya who would be willing to more expensive collector-focused 3.75" Marvel toys. As it is, they're just losing money sitting on the license.

I imagine that I'll have a desk like that once I get around to making my Power Rangers customs(gotta gather the old 2010 figures for helmets and make a video on them first, though).

Still, I find the sight kinda amusing for some reason.

The Evil Makuta was jealous of this line and betrayed it, casting a spell over it, who fell into a deep slumber...

Oh, did I say Makuta? I meant Dwight Stall. Easy mistake to make, really.

Also, other than the Deadpool set, nothing so far.

Autobot_Goldbug 01-23-2018 05:10 PM

24 days until Toy Fair then maybe we will know more

Speaking of which, last I saw was "after the first of the year." Anything more specific?

I got bored waiting for the paint to dry on another custom and started rummaging through the parts box... and ended up with everyone’s favorite religious fanatic vigilante Puss-n-Boots cosplay enthusiast... The Foolkiller!

Got him today. He’s in a 3 pack with some pretty lame other figures, but the whole pack is only $4.93!

What figure is that from? I don't recognized it.

slim19722 01-24-2018 01:04 AM

He's from The Corps! line available at Wal-Mart. The new, more articulated body style in a 3pk with 2 other figures and a motorcycle for $5. Picked up a set the other day.

Hopefully an official statement saying the line has been finally dropped so some of us can move on and away from toy collecting indefinitely.

So terrible sales these past couple of years hasn't contributed to the downfall of MU?

Creator working on a S.H.I.E.L.D. team, huh? Well, that may not bode well for his nice HYDRA army. Hopefully they will Hail well and evil shall prevail...... (Insert manical laughter accompanied by lighting flash)

Nope. In order to sell it, you have to distribute it first.

Yeah he’s from the corps line and he’s called “Impact.”
@jay West isn’t that 3 pack a screaming deal? You get the taskmaster clone (the card pic looks just like udon taskmaster), a motorcycle, and 2 other figures. One is lame but the other figure I think could easily be turned into a mercenary, sheild agent, or any other ground troop. For $4.93 the value blows what hasbro has been doing out of the water and the new figures have torso/ more articulation! I get that hasbro pays licensing fees to marvel but to me it just felt like we were getting price gouged.
But yeah those lanyard figures make some great custom fodder.
