That Corp line looks like they intentionally mimic Marvel stuff sometimes. I saw a figure with a chest skull that was similar but not identical to Punisher

@jay West isn’t that 3 pack a screaming deal? You get the taskmaster clone (the card pic looks just like udon taskmaster), a motorcycle, and 2 other figures. One is lame but the other figure I think could easily be turned into a mercenary, sheild agent, or any other ground troop. For $4.93 the value blows what hasbro has been doing out of the water and the new figures have torso/ more articulation! I get that hasbro pays licensing fees to marvel but to me it just felt like we were getting price gouged.
But yeah those lanyard figures make some great custom fodder.

Yeah he did come with another Nu Sculpt figure. There’s 6 all together and some come 2 Nu Sculpt plus one old sculpt and some are 1 Nu and 2 old. Any way you cut it it’s at least one maybe 2 very well sculpted articulated figures and a mini vehicle for $5! Also Lanard is making the figures for the upcoming Rampage movie. The beast figures are awesome and 3.75 scale. The gorilla even comes with an articulated Dwayne the Rock Johnson. The paint apps are lacking on some of these figures but the sculpts are amazing. Pretty sure they were sculpted by the 4 Horsemen - the group that does Mythic Legions and the Power Lord revival from a few years back.

Correct me if I'm wrong but haven't Hasbro been distributing marvel 3.75 GLOBALLY since before 2010 right up until late 2017?so really the lesson here is that in order for Hasbro to continue making and distributing them, you really NEED to support and buy their product.give them direct feedback instead of whining and bitching about how Dwight doesn't love you anymore, lol.

Hasbro wants my money the. They need to return mu to what it was, decent articulated figs at reasonable prices.... Not one nut hair above 5 poa cheaply made crap at crackhead prices. 13 plus bucks for what laughably passes as mu is so far off the reservation its funny.

I think that was more of a joke about how long it takes the product to get into the stores. I mean, I didn't find the first 2016 wave in a store until early 2017. And let's not forget the debacle that was the first 2017 wave.

I think it was more he didn't fully understand what I was saying, distribution was never the issue.the issue was clearly lack of cohesion amongst mu enthusiasts.does this group operate like the legends community?nope.this is more of the vibe.......https://youtu.be/zi8ShAosqzI just replace the German dude with dday, lol.

1. I searched Books a Million. I have 2. 1 in the middle of freaking expensive parking downtown and 1 40+ miles away on the other side of town, and is permanently closed..

2. Distribution sucks when you have to go to Walmart for wave 1, Target for wave 2, TRU for wave 3, wait 9 months for wave 4 at 5 Below, etc. I want it. I buy it when I find it. Finding it is the problem.

i feel your pain.
Honestly i was surprised to find them @ BAM at this past weekend as finding MU in the wild is just as bad.
Wal-Mart and K-Mart (which just closed sadly) were the only spots while Target and TRU were over 50 miles away plus tolls.
Needless to say i bought any MU that i did find.

A great idea and cool Udon Taskmaster, Kernel.

And i absolutely agree with you. 3 figures + a small vehicle for standalone or custom fodder is a major bargain!

Lanard deserves high praise for keeping the 3.75 military brand alive and kicking especially at inexpensive price points.

i'm happy they've picked up movie-licenses as i dig their vehicles and playsets. Now i dig their Kong Skull Island and Rampage monsters for Marvel dios.

Someone mentioned it on another sight, but Lanard really needs to supplement these new sculpted and articulated figures with a comic or animated series. They already have a cool back story. And rumor has it new vehicles are on their way.

That Throne looks excellent, Pilk. Let me know when Doom's throne is on the agenda.

Got some "state of the collection" pics to post later as well.

Cheers! Nice work yourself.

I'm not too worried about the current lack of releases - as long as someone somewhere is making decent figures in the scale then that keeps me happy. I'm really looking forward to Vitruvian Hacks doing some horses for instance.

LordMudd 01-25-2018 10:05 AM

So I called the BAM that is still open and they only have 6" figures, no 4". Glad I did, not worth the 80 mile round trip.

Great use of that Dark Threat HYDRA flamethrower kit Cr8r.... Looks really really really nice, the whole lot. I am always a sucker for that type of thing.

Nice to see you too Jackie, I was gonna say hello formally but been back and forth all week to hospital.

Ah, the HASBRO debate still burns bright. It is what it is,doesn't mean you have to like it but I have learned to accept it. It will all come full circle in due time, maybe news at ToyFair next month maybe nothing until 2022. In time though, it WILL return as all things do.

Not to beat a dead horse, but here are my two cents..... (Feel free to skip)
I think the over saturation of Thor, Cap and especially Iron Man films all with a toy line choked the stores with stale product. In some cases for years and didn't allow new stock. Also, how many Thor figures do people want? Hasbro did learn though... Star Wars 5 poa and Legends just incorporate new films in the fold as a wave or a release in current stuff. Point being a WHOLE line of toys not being dedicated. Stahl? Who knows and frankly I no longer care. He hates it he loves doesn't matter, it is gone. I do know there are some multi scale gems coming. Enough inspiration around here to keep me going. From awesome customs, massive armies, FANTASTIC room displays and the crazy oddball random characters. Plus not mention Pilk's awesome Thanos chair! As someone that has his Kang chair I can say I am sure that thing is amazing. Distribution was hit and miss for me. I know others experience was different. The MU brand was also in a strange time for retail. 2009-2017 saw a mass exodus from brick and mortar to online and stores and manufacturing didn't really know how to handle things. I think Hasbro gets it now. They learned many a lesson of what NOT to do off the back of 3.75" and now we are stuck with the bill from that meal. The cost is our scale being "rested" for an undetermined amount of time.......

Having said that, I am very happy to be back amongst friends and fellow collectors. Been spending all my money on VR stuff for the lad and just spent £280 on shirt (thanks Lil' Pump) so my HASBRO money is going to different mplaces for my son. He is getting older now so maybe the timing would have worked out either way, who knows. I am still looking for MU Secret Wars 2 pack (red) Ultrons, HYDRA, some Toy Biz 6" stuff still to blend in, a few spots I missed with MU and other iterations of the line, stands and flight stands, custom stuff and loads more. I am still in the game and buy occasionally but it is to people on eBay and what not but not directly to Hasbro anymore. One day that will change when they make stuff I want to buy. I will in future try to support them more when they DO make stuff I want. Jackie is right, they do need support and feedback. Remaining silent and complaining (a very British thing) isn't helping anyone. However, I have spent MANY an hour bitching about them and I got to be honest, I enjoyed every single second!!!! ;)

3.75" inch figures, parts, and accessories will be plentiful at the SoCal Joe Show. Also there, some vintage Marvel Comics, mostly GIJoe of course, TF, and more. Dan Klingensmith, a contributor to the Netflix series, The Toys That Made Us, will also be there.

April 8th 2018.

Lots of problems. Kids are drifting away from toys to tech. All that jazz Too much Iron Man. Too many toy lines in back to back seasons pumping out the same characters, as you've alluded to and Hasbro is feeling pain of from Star Wars failing to make numbers. Anyways, I'm still of the opinion that there's plenty of money to be made in Marvel 4" if its done with creativity, enthusiasm, and leaning towards adult collectors.
