EHHHH, that Storm wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but Hasbro knows I'll still get it...

Exactly. This is Not The Storm you were looking for. But it's not a bad Storm, I just feel either FA or JL would have been more...ideal to more people.

Veronica Mars 09-08-2017 03:00 PM

Punk Storm because she reuses Jessica Jones's jacket and the Storm head they already have

We already knew of both of these from SDCC.

I know a lot of y'all love the old BAF, but this 'Poccy speaks to me on an Animated Series level.

Same here, plus blue & yellow wolverine to join my TAS display :-)

Phantomcrow 09-08-2017 03:02 PM

I wish Paladin looked more like the classic McFarlane Spidey era style, the figure looks mostly like a repaint of Scorge/Demolition Man/Electro body with a new head. I want the big shoulder pads version of Paladin.

But I guess his current Deadpool look works since it is for the DP line and the DP book is the last place he has been recently.

Or...or...Giant Sized X-Men set will take care of those classics.

I am really glad now I bought the TB White Outfit Storm from the X-Men line. Seeing as how I don't see how we will get her now. I see us getting FA at some point though.

It's just weird. They even said a year and a half ago they were trying to focus on the Jim Lee looks....and yet Storm and Colossus both have missed that mark.

I think the body's actually the same one they used for the new Blade figure. The torso armor looks like the same mold, at least.

Colossus probably went with the newer look so that they could tack on the bearded head. And Veronica Mars did point out a good explanation of why they went with Punk Storm. Which means they'll bleed us for more money when they do get around to those versions.

Well played, Hasbro.

You can see the official promo images of them from this article:

So Silk and Jewel and Psylocke are triplets?

Looks like, from this one slide, that we're gonna get more reveals at NYCC, MCM London CC, and La Mole CCI? I'm hoping that's what that slide is telling us.

Haha. Dont want him to turn around and knock over the other figs on the shelf ;) besides r mika hates competition

Jeddostotle7 09-08-2017 03:15 PM

Damn, I'm actually pretty satisfied by these reveals. I'm still disappointed that so many of the figures in the Black Panther wave have so little to directly do with Black Panther, but I'm at least glad that the Iron Man that was rumored is a version that some people (including me) have actually been wanting. Also happy with Shuri and Klaw. Don't know who Paladin is, but glad some people are satisfied. Always ready for more Serpent Society, so King Cobra is a welcome reveal. Modern Jessica Drew looks nice. And quite satisfied for the X-wave reveals; Psylocke looks nice, been waiting for a Tiger Stripe Wolverine, and am actually very happy with Storm being her Punk look.

Veronica Mars 09-08-2017 03:19 PM

Hard pass on another Jessica Drew

Boy Blunder 09-08-2017 03:19 PM

Oh yay. Shartimus got a shout-out because he won't stop friggin' asking about the double-jointed elbows in female figures. I mean, yes, I would like these to happen as well, but I'm so tired of the question coming from him.

They did say they'd love to do Beast and a huge Sentinel. Begin those prayers, Arkers!

sephiroth61787 09-08-2017 03:22 PM

Very happy with Modern Jessica Drew. I know the look isn't too popular, but I love it. Also excited for Punk Storm (even though I have the TRU exclusive Storm) and Psylocke. I REALLY love how Apocalypse looks. Easily buying that entire wave just for him.

I have the BAF Thanos, but I want the Wal-Mart exclusive for the Infinity Gauntlet.

ANAD Iron Man might be a disappointment for me. Just doesn't look great IMO.

Not sure but Psylocke looks a bit different than Silk and Jewel.

It definitely gives credence to the comic Electra rumored for next year.

Starlord67 09-08-2017 03:25 PM

Very excited about these reveals..may be not the costumes I want at the time...but they will come out eventually. I have to learn patience.

It's Spider Woman of Burnside

It's funny Julia was the second female figure made in the MU line and it's like she's not even on the radar for ML
