I agree, MJ and Phoenix are specialized identifiable characters. I don't think these Hydra packs will likely be peg warmers for many days to come. Other than Army builders and Hydra soldiers for true comic book fans most people won't be able to even identify them.

Guys, any idea on the release time for the hascon exclusives on the 20th?

a guy i deal with on FB (i've had transactions with him) has them for cost plus shipping plus maybe 2 or 3 bucks.
IF....you're interested.

yup..they suck

side note. i don't usually call Hasbro cheap, but the fact that the weapons are colored all one color silver/grey...doeeeeees seem a lil on the cheap side.

At least they are a normal gun color for a bloody change ( yellow n green and that red weird rifle thing bucky came with ) ;)

I am absolutely interested

Does anyone have any extra:
right, male, Caucasian(looking), grabbing/holding/trigger-pulling hands ???
I need at least two.

*UPDATE*
an Arker just pointed out to me (duh) that the default right hand to MCU Dr. Strange is exactly what i need...
if anyone has an extra they are not using.

Army builders are always high demand because that's what they are army building...so these will probably be just as hard to find as the previous Hydra soliders that were released...

Kirathis 09-14-2017 04:27 PM

Stopped by a local TRU the other day. Nothing new but for the very first time they actually had the exclusive Groot in stock. So now I am the owner of my very own Groot with creepy smiley face action. Months after the actual release.

My TRU held them for certain customers and they never hit the shelf, at least that's what the girl on the phone told me when I complained about having to drive 70 miles to actually find their exclusives.

I did luck out and get one though.

When does that Walgreens Torch drop? I'm sick of the old lady up front looking at me like I stole something when I walk in, and walk out.

haha, sounds like me but i think im worse cause im a bodybuilder with tattoos all over, looking at the toy aisle then walk out with nothing

Charliegone 09-15-2017 01:35 AM

I finally got the Dark Phoenix 2 pack..geez. TRU finally had em around my area. Not sure about the 2 pack Hydras. Didn't see them today.

Sadly, no. They never seem to give the time. I just keep reloading the website over and over. But if anyone gets a lead on the time, please share! :)

Captain Nash 09-15-2017 07:00 AM

Black Panther is in stock on Amazon through third party sellers. Only 3X the retail o-O (not biting.) Seriously WTF is the deal with this figure why has hardly anyone seen it when it's supposedly be out for months. Get your shit together Walmart, you pegged for the exclusive and there's no real point in doing so if you don't even bother to stock it.

Lol. So I'm not the only one.

Same lady always says hello and asks if she can help find something. I always just say "no thanks". Repeat week after week.

That is too funny lol i guess we all get that look, especially when we're guys in our mid 30s with full beards walking in stalking the toy aisle.

bigkid24 09-15-2017 09:10 AM

I do the Walgreens walk too but more often than not I end up buying something from the clearance area because it's pennies on the dollar. I bought a bunch of bubble envelopes to mail figs last time and the cashier knocked them all down to 10 cents. I cleaned them out at that point.

Boy Blunder 09-15-2017 09:17 AM

RE: Human Torch dropping, I still haven't gotten a call from my Walgreens contact. She said that Torch was scheduled to come in last week, but the toys get shipped when they get shipped, and the most she can do is rag on the people in charge of shipping them out (especially since she has a 'waiting list' of local collectors she keeps updated on releases). But I do know that the moment she gives me the call, we'll be picking Johnny up by the end of the day.

So being chatting on facebook with a few ML collectors, We've just noticed that the following females shown at hascon: X-23, Storm , Psylocke, Spider-woman or Domino.
Don't have bicep swivels !! Fair enough if these are prototypes. But if they have downgraded the articulation this is disappointing , ok figures like black cat didnt have it but, thought it was an new thing to up the articulation.

Sad thing is, I think I remember someone (Falcon, maybe?) saying at Toy Fair that it would be on some figures, for whatever reason, and not a line-wide thing yet.

The only female figures with bicep swivel are the ones on the moonstone body (Capt Marvel/Warbird, Rogue, Original Spider Woman, Satana and Moonstone),the larger body (Comic Valkyrie, Thundera, She-Hulk and Hela) and then Mantis who was a completely new sculpt

GizmoTron 09-15-2017 10:53 AM

If you're in the KC region and looking for Legends 2 packs, the TRU by Oak Park Mall has them all. 4 Homecoming, 3 Star Lord and Egos, 1 Spider and MJ, and 11 believe it or not Dark Phoenix and Cyclops packs.
