I did get the Asmus Bilbo yesterday, although I haven't photographed him yet.
But I'm just subscribing to this thread in anticipation of Astra's photos of the Arkham diorama. :) |

TriForce Arkham Origins Joker Collectible Statue - I believe it also came with a game? I have no idea about these things. So is this a scene from the game? https://i.postimg.cc/x1MHxbxQ/Joker1.jpg I love the little details, how the carpet folds over the floorboards. (yes, that green figure in the back is supposed to be without head. At first I thought it was broken) https://i.postimg.cc/q7rK9MS3/Joker2.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/NFK21y9W/Joker3.jpg All the items are glued tightly and cannot be removed. https://i.postimg.cc/1XbnM9D4/Joker4.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/LXCZYkXt/Joker5.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/dQfyJ9gv/Joker6.jpg It arrived with one of the screens broken (which was NOT in the ebay description!) I was looking for a way to open it at the backside, but it seems to be one solid piece. I was able though to put some glue around the edge and then turn it with it front downwards so it would just fall back in place and thankfully it holds now. If it had gotten completely loose and fallen inside there was nothing I could have done. https://i.postimg.cc/KY5TFhhs/Joker7.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/fLT9RqwW/Joker8.jpg Even the backside is crafted wonderfully! The box on the left opens and there are the batteries stored and the light switch. You'll see three gum plugs. I don't know what they are for or what I would gain to remove them. There is one hole which is missing the plug. But no screws to take it apart. Although the middle upper part also arrived loose from the boxes below. But you could see that it was glued so I inserted the plugs back into the holes and did glue it back. The small TVs at the left should have antennas, you can see that in the youtube videos. Little plastic things that came extra and needed to be inserted. https://i.postimg.cc/4Nhhy9Tc/Joker9.jpg |

Thank you, Astra! You did not disappoint!

I still think fondly of that first action figure thread at the Gateworld forum back in Stargate times. It's where I learnt how to custom figures. That you can take off heads with hot water etc. Doing repaints. Quote:

Fair enough! :) For my first Bilbo Baggins shoot, I left the house around 5:00 this morning to visit Robert Louis Stevenson Park, where I spent a very happy few hours. I am pretty happy with the results. https://i.postimg.cc/GhFrpjTn/Here-E...d-the-Days.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/sxG8b37R/Bilbo-Close-Up-II.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/W4tQ0mz3/The-Ro...-On-and-On.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/YSVTR4Lx/Only-Q...de-World-I.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Qx3GvW44/I-Must-Away-II.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/mkWJx0wz/Under-...ths-Led-II.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/9FY52FsW/It-s-a...our-Door-I.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/66hY5261/Far-From-Hobbiton-II.jpg |

Stunning pics, Monte! https://i.gifer.com/embedded/download/MAgY.gif |
I've been absent from this thread for quite a while, but I really felt like stopping by and showing off what I picked up during this week's epic $5 SW Black Series and Marvel Legends sale at GameStop !
I kinda assumed there was going to be a flood of posts like this, since GameStop had SOOOO much on sale for only $5 ! http://www.toyark.com/members/frank-.../haul-4262.jpg Before the accusations of "hoarding" begin, I want to point out that I bought 3 of these Jumptroopers on Monday, and then grabbed 4 more on Friday. I figured if nobody else was going to snag them at such an awesome price, there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to do a little troop building :D . |
Thanks, Sender!
Frank, you're fine. I use the same logic when someone brings donuts to work; I'll grab one at 7:30 and leave the rest, but if you haven't got yer donut on by 10:00 or so, tough luck! |

Never apologize or excuse you spending your money how you see fit @Sender. Secondly - https://i.imgur.com/IOxTVTS.jpg?1 |

No these are beautiful. Spectacular. If I didn't know it was a figure I could think it is the real actor. Not exactly what I meant though ;) What I am usually doing, in here I post pictures of the figures with just plain black background, showing details and the accessories they come with. The sophisticated artistic pictures then go into the "Let's see some cool stuff" thread. But then I'm German and like my order ;) |
