Also picked these up at Tombstone when we visited there while we were in Tuscon: https://i.imgur.com/bO9JY9J.jpg |
Niagara Falls Walmart. Employees are just printing stickers to sell them. What a joke.

I found this yeyesterday at a thrift store called Savers. It was $3, and is made of thick old wood. Looks like a late 80s - early 90s toy that someone made before people were so worried about safe toys.

Then you have stores like the one I preordered at who never bothered to stock him at all. I ended up canceling my preorder. |

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...6b37fa41_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...8f1af5d7_b.jpg Birthday haul! Freddy was the only toony terror that appealed to me and it's pretty much exactly what I was expecting, minimal pose options but clean paint and just nice on the shelf. I'm not normally a die-cast car collector but I am a big Nightmare on Elm Street fan so when I saw Jada did the Cadillac from the end of the movie I knew I wanted it. Alfred is solid, his accessories (including his alternate heads) are probably some of the best they've done under the Multiverse title. His ab crunch is basically useless so at that point all it does is hurt his appearance but overall not too bad. Starfire came out pretty well, mine has some areas of paint slop but as a whole she looks good. Her hair is bit more anime than I'm used to, her elbows don't even bend to 90 degrees, and her high heels cause stability problems but otherwise she handles well and I like the energy effects. Red Hood is the weakest of the three but this really boils down to his lack of weapons, I've given him a Marvel Legends Paladin knife to make up for the useless molded-in pistols. |

Lasershot Predator came in the mail today. I think he looks fantastic and for the most part he handles well. The shoulders' ability to hinge in and out is limited by the armor but that's it for articulation issues I've experienced. It's not pictured but in hand I like his goofy-ass alternate left claw hand a lot more than I did when it was first shown off so it's a bit of a shame that I wasn't able to switch the hands out, I think mine has excess plastic blocking it up. I didn't even bother fiddling with the bendy wire aspect of his harpoon/grappling hook cannon as I always intended to display him with just the spearhead. Finally my single favorite aspect of the figure is his head; the LED right eye works well and looks great, the colors pop (this actually applies to the whole toy), and the sculpt is intricate and does a wonderful job camouflaging the battery panel. |
