Hey guys, any other suggestions, on how we can make this work?
HASBROLAB HELLICARRIER - MARVEL 3.75 THE VINTAGE COLLECTION (TOYBIZ). 1. Re-Launch line as Marvel 3.75 The Vintage Collection / Toybiz cards. Just like the recent carded 6 inch figures. 2. Release on eve of last Avengers Infinity II movie to ensure maximum fan participation / crowdsource funding. 3. Re-Use to hit 3 birds with 1 stone. Re-Use toy's big skeleton to make Transformers / Broadside and GiJoe / Flagg for the upcoming big Hasbroverse cinematic films. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/...20131116234148 http://toys.tfw2005.com/wp-content/u...roadside-2.jpg http://news.hisstank.com/wp-content/...t-Carrier.jpeg |

that would be awesome!
I had the exact same though about your #1 they kind of did it with the Sinister Six set |
So, Creator, is that painting technique a wipe? Have you tried dry-brush?

I don't know about the Transformer-reuse, unless you just mean give it a Broadside paintjob for some convention release or something. I don't think it needs to be bigger than the SDCC Super-Helicarrier. But it needs to be either comic or movie accurate, which, the Avengers HC was not. And it needs more play value. There wasn't much to do WITH the HC because it was just a platform. It needed the bottom half of the ship, which I think is doable and a good idea. Sell it in 2 or 3 pieces, like a deck, a base playset, and maybe a bridge. The pieces have play value on their own but can be combined to form a Helicarrier. That way its not some huge, crazy big piece that you have to invest in at one time. |

https://nerdist.com/star-wars-jabba-...ge-toy-hasbro/ I didn't know that was a thing. That's awesome and we need it for the Helicarrier. To you idea of a re-launch on vintage-looking cards, I'm for whatever gets me more, better, Marvel 4" figures. Put them on vintage cards, MU cards, ML cards, packed with comic books, or vehicles. Just so long as they are as good (or better) than the best of MU. None of this $10 shit, like these JazWares Assassins Creed crap. That's what $10 gets you these days. |

As for the Jazwares Assassins Creed line: the sculpting, articulation, and accessories are great for $10 imo. The eyes are a small defect comparatively. Plus having more brands addressing the 3.75 inch void is a bonus. Not to mention the Amazon AC single cards have sold-out on two (of the four) the characters as of this post. i didn't even know these were even in production. Go 3.75! Frankly, i hope to see more 3.75 lines produced at retail, then perhaps Hasbro will rejoin the fray that they helped pioneer in the first place. Superheroes have never been so popular. |

Went to a collectible show... found a TRU MU unmasked purple Magneto and Cap CP for 10 bucks. I was happy because I passed on that same comic pack when TRU clearanced them all for $6 five or so years ago and regretted it ever since. I really like this figure... the Adam Warlock headsculpt makes him look handsome... he's gonna be my default Magneto and I don't have to worry about trying to find the Secret Wars or AoA one now.

I like a lot of your ideas guys, but without a huge selection of basic figures 3.75 figures lines don’t move vehicles/ play sets. For instance gi joe had hundreds of figures, literally a wave a month for years. So selling dozens of vehicles was easy. Lots of guys= lots of, and big rides... now flash forward to today, I just picked up 2 of the SW AT-STs from the Walmart black seriesfor 15 a pop. They were like 65 or so when they came out. And there were probably 10 more not moveing at 15$. Why, not because they aren’t awesome, because there are only three other supporting characters from the line in the whole store... and theyre all Finn.
By the way, Anyone who wants some awesome insight into how the toy industry works watch “the toys that made us” series on Netflix. The gi joe, and he man episodes are awesome and super insightful. And not that I’m a Barbie fan, but seeing how that shit was run was mind blowing. Those women were some cut throat monsters! |

Apply that same approach with a Marvel 3.75 "Vintage" and a huge Haslab Hellicarrier, then sales may increase. Increasing sales may increase figure selection. A smaller number of fans in MOTUC got Grayskull and plans for an even bigger Snake Mountain. Haslab can do the same for us. |
