if you want cheap get the orange lantern suit and paint it the appropriate colors and after seeing some of your customs I know you have mad painting skills so get to it

personally i just want a good buisness suit lex lol

Idea for a custom. Alfred from the dark knight line. swap hands heads. if you have to make it fit, whatever. Lex could be in a suit. It might not work but I think it's going in the right direction

Barefootabe 06-26-2012 11:40 PM

it would work for sure..he just may be a little short since the movie masters are shorter than regular DCUC

Barefootabe 06-26-2012 11:52 PM

the chair and table came from a matrix figure

OAFE - The Matrix: Morpheus review

and on the table i got a stack of cash from the MS black cat and some joker cards from the mad love 2 pack :D

Barefootabe 06-27-2012 01:32 AM

Yep that's the right track. Movie Masters Harvey Dent or business suit Scarecrow (he's not wearing a tie) could work too.

For my budget right now. . .I found the MM Scarecrow at TRU on clearance for $4, and I had an extra battle armor Lex with a broken hose.

Tiberius 06-27-2012 09:07 AM

Just a reason why I never got MM figures. To small. I don't think there is any reason for them to be shorter than DCUC. It is almost like they went out of their way too. Wouldn't it just be easier to keep it all the same bucks? Once you got a 6" figure in a suit, you can use that suit over and over and over again with different variations for both MM and DCUC.

Tiberius 06-27-2012 09:46 AM

Guys I cannot wait to get Metallo in the mail. So many more villains to get for my Superman rogues shelf!

Damn, Modesto sold their last one a month or so before I started on DC

D00MTR0N 06-27-2012 09:58 AM

I asked this question in the MU thread, perhaps someone in this thread would know,I saw a sinestro figure at walmart and noticed he had some scars on his face, has the character always had them or was it just a thing they added for the film?

Tiberius 06-27-2012 10:31 AM

Sinestro in both the movie, and DC comics, has no scars from what I remember. Just an extremely big forehead. Did you only see one or was there many figures? It sounds more like a mistake to me. A bad ass one though, Sinestro with facial scars, can't go wrong!

it was on all the figures.

Tiberius 06-27-2012 10:36 AM

Sounds like a mistake on Mattels part. If you want him, and he is cheap I say get him. I am not into the MM lines as they don't mix in with my DCUC collection but they look good none the less. Maybe I should start a small MM collection. Won't touch them until I get a MM Superman figure...that would be SICK.

D00MTR0N 06-27-2012 10:39 AM

heres some pics of the scars:

Tiberius 06-27-2012 10:41 AM

Ah well there you go, he does have scars XD. Looks bad on the figure though but I remember you putting a scar on Dr Doom so adding a bit of dark red to the scars can REALLY make it pop. Go for it dude!

D00MTR0N 06-27-2012 10:43 AM

I was just wondering if there was any story line behind the scars?I was never into green lantern but may have to buy that figure and watch the movie now,is sinestro a badass?

D00MTR0N 06-27-2012 10:49 AM

btw,its not on the mm,its the 4" figure.

Tiberius 06-27-2012 10:49 AM

http://casinoskunk.files.wordpress.c...1-sinestro.jpg

In the comics, no, not that I remember. I don't even see scars but heck I could be blind. They just look like wrinkles to me. So as for a story behind them, there is none because in the comics there isn't any. In the movie, he must have always had them because he doesn't do anything but talk and be bad ass lol.

I guess Thaal is best described as a Magneto type character to me. He is very prideful and wants to rule the universe to sustain peace as the Green Lantern core doesn't have the balls to do what needs to be done. He is a very complex character because his goal is to bring order to the galaxy, which it desperately needs, but does bad things to do it. I really don't recommend the movie though, it doesn't do anyone any justice..

Oh, and to hell with 4" figures, personally. Mattel can't make them to save their life.

Roxxstar 06-27-2012 11:05 AM

I really need to get a Sinestro lol

Tiberius 06-27-2012 11:06 AM

I am wanting the 2 pack with Hal Jordan and the constructs. I would love a classic suit Sinestro =3.
