Nice A-Force set-up! I agree about the hair on the Medusa. She definitely needs something a little more dynamic, while she's representing as the queen of Attilan. Also, really looking forward to the Black Widow Vintage release. The re-use of the MJ head doesn't bother me as much, because there is not a chance that I'm not buying both Widows. The extra MJ head will be nice fodder.

Thanks! I had doubles of some of those ladies, and Nico and Singularity don't really fit any of my displays, so I though why not.
And I'm getting the other Widow too, but in the meantime I have MJ as BW. Body is good thou, sturdy.

I was wondering where I left my cash and X-force Deadpools. If you could just mail those back to me, that'd be great :D

Also hope you got one with good joints, given the problems others have seen in him.

Haven't opened him yet, hopefully he's good joint wise.

If only ToyBiz had capitalized on it back in the day, but I'm sure figuring out the rights to such a thing would have been a disaster.

I re-read DC vs. Marvel recently, it gets nitpicked for being a popularity contest a lot but the series holds up as a lot of fun, too. And a nice time piece about just how different 90's Marvel was compared to today.

Man... I missed out on raf sparring with Internet Smart Guy... :D

So, guys, I'm not big on the Toy Biz Legends releases, but our local guy got a ton of loose figures recently to resell, including a Toy Biz ML Blackheart. Anyone who owns him, what are your thoughts on him? Is he worth a pick-up, even for someone who prefers the Hasbro construction/aesthetic? With the Man-Thing BAF release, it makes me wonder what the chances of a newer Blackheart might be...

...but I would love to own a Blackheart either way. One step closer to a full Capcom Marvel roster.

I miss 90s Marvel. Just a lot of fun and ridiculousness.

I purchased Blackheart a while back just because I needed the BAF. I wasn't blown away by the figure. Parts were gummy, and I didn't like how it looked like his tail was just stuck on his back. I messed with him for a while, then went into exile when I returned my focus to building Onslaught. I would hold out for a Hasbro release, which may not be likely any time soon. If you can get it under 20 loose, it's worth having.

I'm kind of split on my opinion on Blackheart. For me since I already have the figure I'm really glad I have him. It's better than nothing. But, to me he's rather lanky for what I would want for the figure. He's not the most poseable figure given his tail off balances him, unless you set him to balance on his tail.

On the other hand, I can see us not getting him done by Hasbro just because he's relatively obscure (even though he's son of Mephisto and one of GR's main enemies.)

I honestly would say 50/50 on him, I know that's not much help, so I guess it depends on how much you really like the character. Having Hela, MS Memphisto, Satana and Dormuumuu really helps that I have him as it adds another Hell Lord (or offspring of) to that list. Why can't we get a Pluto or Satannish....well I understand why not the latter but at least the former...

I miss 90's Marvel too. Even though I got into the X-Men in the late 80's, and Claremont is my favorite writer, I absolutely love the "extreme-ness" of the 90's. It was my favorite era and I gobbled up all the gimmicks, it was better than any other decade barring the original Claremont X-Men run which is always tops in my book. Maybe it's because of where I was at in my life there - late teens-early 20's, college etc I just really grew up life wise and totally got into the angst of the decade. Same for music lol.

So awesome. But I still find it kinda jarring when I see old Legends mixed with the new... the quality difference in some of them are too large IMO. That new Colossus really looks bad to me though; his costume makes his torso look extra long.

went to this TRU that i was referred to by another fellow collector/my barber. this TRU was quite big. i did see groot, EX NIHILO, jackal, deathlok but none of those interest me. the only thing that i did see that i liked was Mad balls and the new Neca chucky figure. the transformers section was lame, no masterpieces. gonna go to Tate's on saturday morning cus they are gonna have a Halloween tent sale so the figs should have good prices that day.
