GameStop's got a pretty nice online sale for action figures and collectibles. Ordered both of these, and then went to the store for pick-up. The employee had the bag ready at the door, and the whole thing took literally seconds. Really nice experience.

The original $50 price for this re-issue Soundwave was always such bullshit to me since it's still put together like it's 1984, but my store finally marked them down to $30. For modern voyager price it's a much easier pill to swallow.

Then through Gamestop's online sale I got myself Reinhardt. This is a bittersweet pickup since while the figure on its own is awesome it's also seeming clear that Hasbro has called it quits on the line so they'll never get around to making a deluxe D.Va with her MEKA. Fingers crossed that maybe the sequel will boost the franchise's popularity again and Hasbro will return to the line.

Agreed. I grabbed that gs 4 pack and plan on getting reiny soon too. Im not a fan of the game but i love the asthetics of lotsa characters like genji and reiny. I have mcree and i use him as a modern bravestarr. I know the first wave didnt do too well ( probably due to price and kinda lack luster characters ) but i think if wave 2 had actually hit mass retail instead of just gamestop it mighta done better. At least we got genji and mcree.

I think the main reason it didn't fare well was simply timing. The game came out in 2016 but Hasbro waited until 2019 to make their figures, Overwatch was a massive hit for that first year and a half but gamers are generally fickle and its popularity waned especially when Fortnite launched. I'm glad Hasbro took a stab at the line at all and I'm particularly glad they did Pharah and Mercy as one of the first two packs so I could get them for less than $200 but it's not entirely surprising the line's already in a coma.

I kinda wish pharah had been taller and not so lanky looking. Otherwise it was fine. I did like how they did mercy as well. I’m not a fan of the game ( or any mmo like that and hated overwatch was an fps with so many badass designs ) but it had so many great character designs.....like Genji.

Your position is why I was confused that the game took so long to get any real merchandise, the characters could clearly hold appeal outside of just people who played the game. Yet the first Figma didn't release until over half a year after launch (plus they're pricey) and I've already complained about Hasbro waiting until the iron was lukewarm to strike.

Anyway, I suppose we should let this thread get back to normal.

I think that's NECA's original Robocop, in which case he didn't have the spring-open holster yet.

En is correct ken. Its the first version, which I wanted because i didnt like the fragile spring open leg gimmick.
