Anyone spot the Hydra 2 pack on the east coast?

Tim 10-10-2017 04:40 PM

Tim 10-10-2017 07:11 PM

If anyone has any extra Vulture BAF parts. Hit me up I have zero interest in any of the figures other then Him. I am also looking for Ultron parts I only need Wasp's and Giant man's part

Glad to know that the base body on the figure is good. Did you get the Dark Phoenix 2-pack? The neutral Jean expression from there would be ideal for a quick replacement for Nat.

This is a great idea. I got vintage BW on Monday and Cyclops/Dark Phoenix pack today (UK collector here - thanks to ID Toys for both!) - so I'm going to try this out tonight. At first glance at the Phoenix head, I think this is going to work well.

I never managed to get MJ though - so I'd like to make use of the head somewhere... I guess I need a Boom Boom for Nextwave still - unless anyone has any better suggestions than making the vintage BW head blonde?

VashTS 10-11-2017 05:10 AM

I'm a dope, I passed on MJ twice because I did not want that Spidey with her. Each time I saw that Spidey, I just rolled my eye because it's another repaint with minimal effort. I literally have hundreds of Spideys.

I am tired of the low functionality of that buck and limited Spidey poses.

Likewise didn't want the Spidey - so really couldn't justify the UK import price tag of £60 ($80) for the set. Whilst it still hurt paying that for Cyclops/Dark Phoenix, I'm keen on both figs so -slightly- less painful.

Errm mm, yes, but I set it aside to use on BW on the meantime, and for the love of me I cannot find her. LOL, I am sure it turn up when I'm looking for something else.

BTW, I am debating to get the Defenders box set, but I don't need the Daredevil or Iron Fist. Anyone on the UK would be interested in buying them at cost price if I get the box set?

Also if anyone on UK needs an Invisible Woman new in box, let me know. I have a spare one cause I cocked up my orders.

For Boom Boom I think the Captain Marvel head with Dark Knight Robin glasses would work.

Ah, yes, good suggestion - I can see that for an early X-Force look. The DK Robin glasses would look better than trimmed down XMC BoP Angel goggles too... thanks!

I'm thinking I want to go for a Nextwave team though, so I think longer hair/no glasses is a must. I ended up with a spare Elsa from A-Force so I've got the jacket, might want to splice onto a shorter body though as I'd like Elsa to be a bit taller.

I'm making an X-Force Boom Boom. I'm using the old Rachel Grey Marvel Girl as the base. She won't have sunglasses at the moment, but I may try to find a replacement head or a pair of glasses I can throw on her.

While I love the level of articulation on TB Nightcrawler, the aesthetics and the headsculpt just make me desire a brand-new figure even more... hopefully with a cutlass, or at least with a hand that can hold a sword accessory. So I'm gonna go with... no.

And neither of my next two favorites, Marrow and Blink, have even gotten a Marvel Legends figure.

Starlord67 10-11-2017 10:56 AM

With Blink being featured prominently on The Gifted I'm hoping she gets the Legends treatment soon!

I seriously believe when a new Nightcrawler is made, we’ll get a Blink as well. Nothing to back that up, but it’s just a feeling.

donmeca2020 10-11-2017 11:26 AM

While i still need a few doubles of a few of the spider-man figures, i'm ready for some of these new waves to drop !

Spyne98 10-11-2017 11:46 AM

Most of my favorites have gotten good figures. I'm very excited for the new Cable. However, one of my all time favorite guys is Nate Grey. I would love a legends of him.
