After several delays in shipment, finally got the AoA wave.

I was going to skip the whole wave due to the stupid BAF. Sugarman...WHY?!?! I still remember the silent that fell over the audience during the Hasbro Live Event when they announced the BAF would be "Sugarman"! I still don't like him, but I will say he stands out in the crowd. I don't see any part of him being able to be reuse for other figures, so I guess for that, gutsy investment Hasbro!

The rest of the wave is okay, the coolest is Sunfire, translucent plastic is just cool. I also like the "stroking chin thinking" gesture hand that came with Dark Beast. Perfect for him. Wild Child is incomplete without Sabretooth, so I guess Sabretooth will be the BAF in the next wave. I'm most looking forward to the AoA Cyclops, probably one of my favorite iteration of Cyclops...a true one-eye cyclops! Hopefully he'll be in the next wave.

Anyone here collecting costume cards? I got four different pieces of Chakotay's / Robert Beltran's Maquis uniform from the Star Trek: Voyager pilot episode "Caretaker".

I really like the look of Shiklah. Never heard of the character before but will fit in nicely with Typhoid Mary and Enchantress as part of my all female Brotherhood. I only collect X Men and their affiliates so the only figure from the wave that is going to hurt to buy on the way to building Strong Guy is that Pirate Deadpool. Thankfully I have a friend who is a big Deadpool fan and has appreciated the weird variants I've gifted to him, since he's too much of an adult to spend his own money on toys.

Not sure, but whatever. There's a picture of the poster in the booklet, so I'm fine with it. Oh, and the backside of the box does have the girl swimming.

It seems like movie studios are embarassed by their movie poster artwork and would rather photoshop some cheap cover for the BD/4K releases.

cuz everyone knows that a half nekkid chick is just click bait....or shark bait, as far as this is concerned! :p
