Do keep in mind this movie they are doing the history of the MCU stuff. Which by the history of it, Ironman 1 was a 6'' line. It wasn't until Ironman 2 that the 1:18th scale was in full swing. Though they did tease it with the Norton Hulk film too. So doing a 4'' line with Part 2 would make sense and nod that. Plus it'd give them a chance to re-do the "history of the MCU" side too. With re-releasing the Obadiah Stane Ironmonger pilot reveal suit paired with a MKIII Ironman 1:18th figure, and some other stuff that could get re-released/repainted. There is a wide audience that never was able to get some of the two packs, and many of the two packs never finished some teams either. So it'd be a great excuse to merge the previous lines for re-releases with a scattering of new stuff. Especially in prep for Phase 4. The "History of" stuff would also fit with Captain Marvel's movie since it's a 'flashback' film that predates IM1. So it'd make it easy to work a toyline in for that. Then they can roll out the new figures based on the new costumes where they need to. Most as is are really only a tweak here and there from previous. And it would be neat to have one of the Norton Hulk figures re-released with the IW 6'' hulkbuster too, even if it's not screen accurate. Or they could use the Exo-suit versions from Avengers 1 and maybe even do the War Machine version this time since they did the Cap/Iron Patriot/Detroit Steel style last time. Or for that matter, the repaint for the Patriot War Machine armor for IM3 too. Wishful thinking, but it's not like hasbro isn't known for re-using old stuff to help fund the new. And those cinematic 2 packs really were under-used with many impossible to find like Spider-man and Dr. Strange or Starlord and Yondu. Plus even AOS ones wouldn't be hard from the parts library they have. Nor really some Netflix either. But for now, Target exclusive video game packs should still give us some normal comic filler occasionally. It's not like the games don't feature some movie/series content anyway. And some random obscures that'd never get made if not for that are neat to have. Like the Civil Warrior that's upcoming. Likely whenever they do go back to 1:18th stuff in a larger way, it'll have a much stronger sales boom though because of the drought and excitement it's back in a bigger way. Hate to say it, but the TRU bankruptcy kind of works in our favor in that regard as it nullifies their exclusivity on the molds used in the two packs. At least for the ones that color variations can't be done on, which could speed up putting together a few initial waves for new material to have time to get ready. |

Wishful thinking yes, but here is hoping! Some nice ideas there. And yes, we still have a few releases on the way
Yep it was called world war hulk when all the avengers got their own buster armour. As for watching previous films, I would watch them all anyway, they have all been very good |

But they do fill in pieces about those characters and their journeys that IW picks up from. They make reference of it and fill it in quickly in the film itself, but if you want the extended info on those character changes that led to IW, you should probably watch them. |

And that was an awesome movie! The entire MCU build up is paying off huge for Marvel. As for what you need to see, GOTG2 is an easy skip, but Ragnarok should be seen or too many questions will be unanswered just from the opening 10 minutes of the film. So, see Ragnorak, skip GOTG2 and you'll be good. |
Oh, I will say unless you really feel like sitting through 5 minutes of credits there's no justifiable reason to sit through the end credits of Infinity War. There's nothing there that makes the additional wait worthwhile, IMO.

Also, I personally didn't think that the post credit scene was all that great. Kinda regret sitting in the theater until the end. |
Echo - someone beat me to it already though!

Ok guys sorry for the rant. Loved infinity war and got chills during some parts... hope to see it again soon. Still wish we got a toyline for the movie. As for the end credits, stay! I loved the last little part. |

Speaking of post credits and games, Insomniac says Spiderman PS4, may lead to its own Marvel Gaming Universe. This maybe a good thing for 3.75 figures.
"[Marvel Studios] tacked on that Nick Fury scene at the end of Iron Man 2008 but did anyone think it would culminate in The Avengers? Or now Avengers Infinity War? That was a pipe dream. The first intention was, let’s just make the best Iron Man movie. We’re approaching it the same way… Let’s just make the best Spider-Man game.” https://www.cbr.com/spider-man-ps4-m...ming-universe/ |
sorry it can't be the best Spider-Man game when it is exclusive to one platform
