I've heard the Bandai Ultramarine feels kind of hollow, any truth to that?

Yes- he's VERY light and his elbow pads have a tendency to pop off. Overall- if I had known McFarlane was doing an entire 40k line I wouldn't have bothered with the Bandai version. It's cool and a very fun figure but for the $$$ it should have at least had some more accessories like an alt head and Bolt pistol.

But he still looks better than the McFarlane one. At least based on the pics.

lol- I think they look almost identical from the pics so far. The head on the McFarlane one looks to sit a little higher on the neck. other than that, from pics- without knowing which is which I would be hard pressed to tell the difference. Find out in Sep I hope!

Saw Amazon themselves had Spawn in stock three days ago for just under $20 so I got it and cancelled my pre-order which had been changed to the mace version. I'm not really in favor of Spawn having a sword or a mace but since my initial pre-order was placed back when I thought he'd have a sword it is kind of nice to get the figure with the sword. Of course then my one gripe with the figure is that said sword is his only accessory so I had to find an unused 1/10 scale gun (from Select Deadpool) since any of my unused 1/12 scale guns would look tiny in his hands. Paint, sculpt, and articulation wise this figure is pretty damn impressive, especially compared to their recent figures but even when compared to other companies' offerings this guy holds up.

Mace or sword I still want that bad boy. Hopefully the new version doesn't shoot up in price so damn fast.

Introduction 9" Playmates Chakotay. His skintone is way too light. Stone and Akoonah are nice but the Blackbird's wing is a disaster. Looks like twigs! I can repaint it but the form is all wrong too. They should all go into the same direction.
At least the phaser does not have that orange "tongue" like Janeway's had. I'll repaint that too for more screen accuracy.
