Have you opened one your Deadpool Back in Black figures yet? If so, how are you liking it? I'm interested in the figure despite never having read that particular comic but I haven't been impressed with the video reviews I've seen.

Yes, I'm loving it!...but again, I love DP so, I'm the wrong person to ask, lol.

...god, I still need that Jean/Scott pack... they look so good. Especially with the rest of the team there (don't have Chuck or Storm, but I'll definitely be picking up Punk Storm...)

I used to love Slade but then they went and made hiM Into some whackdoo born again religious zealot nutloaf leading a team of holy avengers in black n white outfits.

Glad to know I was not the only one who had a "bwa?" moment about that. I guess Rocket has been drawn a lot taller in the more modern comics. Older Rocket was about eye to eye with Cosmo which would have put him somewhere in the 2-3ft range. Shrug. Still not as wide a variance as depictions of Thing or Wolverine.

Sigh, apparently no more BOGO on the Legends at TRU. I would have loved to snag some extra Hydra guys on the cheap.

Those deadpool's look fantastical...if and just a somewhat of a minor, yet important if.....IF they just had some shading in there....

Dark red for the red, dark grey for the gray and some bluish tint for the whites....so close to a work of art.

Couldn't agree more. Both are Good characters even though Deadpool is just a Rip off of Death stroke but Death stroke will forever be superior to Deadpool. Deadpool is only acceptable to me thanks to the Badass movie

Just playing around tonight. Man-thing is great. I finally got all the pieces I needed. I am very happy with it, it is every bit as good as I had hoped.

The face off Sabes & yelling head variant are the best 6' scale versions of Mr Creed IMO. Hasbro Puck BAF version is my 2nd favorite. Fingers crossed that the rumored Sabretooth is a re-do of the classic faceoff version. But for now, the TB Faceoff version is the best w/o a doubt.

Honestly the similarities between Slade and Wade are only superficial. Yes Deadpool was clearly made with Deathstroke's image and line of work copied over but their backgrounds and more importantly personalities are vastly different. I think it's just easier to get into reading Deathstroke because he is a serious character with a more traditional basis.

Side note not directed at anyone in specific: it amuses me that I've seen and heard people say they don't like or "don't get" Deadpool but then admit to liking the movie which pretty much captures the essence of the character. The movie didn't reinvent the character, if anything it is one of the more faithful comic movie character adaptations.

Actually the core of HQs overarching story line has been realizing that she was in an abusive relationship with Joker and moving on. They aren't together and unless DC loses it mind they won't be again.
