I had one of those for my Dremel too, but the plastic lace one stripped the finish off of wood furniture. Of course that was 30 years ago.

I've heard of post-polished torture. apperantly it's worse than tickle torture.

Funny. Coincidentally he just posted a picture of a 6 inch DC figure! Dave Vonner definitely has DC Comics in mind = https://www.instagram.com/p/BjI9Y8Mn...by=davidvonner

LordMudd 05-23-2018 08:42 PM

It's a conspiracy! Stall and vonner are trying to corner the market!

I all cap'd this for effect. Stop editing my posts.

Prem1x 05-24-2018 01:12 PM

Glad to hear Vonner back on comic figures.

Super Joe 05-24-2018 09:05 PM

Nothing official. Yet. However, Vonner seemed real disappointed with the Infinity movie. So he's been on this DC binge. This maybe a good thing. Let's see where it all leads.

Don't see how that would be a good thing for MU, given he works for Mattel now.

Its good for 3.75 inch collectors. If a good quality DC 3.75 line exists then Marvel fans (old and new) will demand the same. Like how MCU created an increased demand for Warner Bros to do more for DC comic book movies. Its good for comic fans overall.

Nah. People will just be whining that it isn't 6 inch. Kinda surprised the Jurassic World figures haven't been bombarded with that.

i'm not deliberately bursting any bubbles, but Marvel fans already demand the 3.75 MU line.
Regardless if Mattel produces a 3.75 line (which i doubt), Hasbro is abandoning the scale.
No MU. No Joe. Just Star Wars prevails.

On the flip side, Mattel also abandoned the 3.75 scale. It's more than likely Vonner will follow suit and jump aboard the 6 inch line as he has already hinted at that.

i'm with Il Cattivo.
Personally i think the Vonner/Mattel news only favors the 6 inch collectors.

Jurassic World, like Star Wars, is largely scaled based. Instead of vehicles, the universe revolves around dinosaurs. 1:18 scale is ideal.

The mega-XL T-Rex aside, making 6 inch scaled dinos wouldn't be as practical in my opinion. Though i wouldn't be surprised if they are testing the waters with the sales of the XL T-Rex to gauge if a 6 inch market is more profitable.

That said, i applaud Mattel for going all out with their 3.75 JW collection.

If anyone has bargain hunts nearbthem check em out. Went by there today and they had thor two packs for 5.50. If anyone finds the dc multiverse ares wave i need a set.

No news either way. Might not get anything until SDCC.

Good question. I was looking forward to the Hiya Lost and Elder Predators but every time I check Amazon they both say "Temporarily out of stock." and it's been that way since their release day about a month ago.

The grey Hulk is my favorite Hulk, but I was disappointed that the head was just a repaint of the classic green Hulk, so I replaced it with a more monstrous one. Speaking of monsters, my 2nd custom is of an inbred, cannibal hillbilly. :)

Del Toro figure

This might be a bit whiny but there hasn't been any 3.75 news on Toyark in 2 weeks or more now. The latest update at the moment is for the SDCC 2018 Guillermo del Toro action figure.

Is there really a demand for this? They can go to all this trouble for something that I doubt anyone has requested but we can't get ONE 3.75 figure with two blockbuster Marvel movies out right now and dozens of new costumes and characters in the comics? That is just crazy to me.

Not blaming it on Toyark of course, I'm sure its a factor of the lack of 3.75 news.

Whine time over!

JD

Literally just small companies and Kickstarters keeping the 3.75" flame burning.

Hasbro is just keeping the 3.75" scale license hostage to do nothing with it. Because if a motivated 3.75" company, like BOSS FIGHT, got a hold of it they would knock it out of the park.

Pilkster 05-27-2018 11:07 AM

Looking for people to share their pics of their ironman armouries if possible :)

It IS pretty sad!
As i've mentioned, Marvel Superheroes are at an all time high AND just dropped an epic sized blockbuster for the summer & there is not a single 3.75 inch figure to show for it?

Sure, there's the 5/6 inch kid line but Hasbro could have easily reused some MCU molds for movie tie-ins or MU molds for comic tie-ins.

Crazy sad :(

In addition to Lanard's movie licenses and The Corps line, i was surprised to see such entrees as Jazware's (very brief) Assassin's Creed, Funko's Ready Player One, Disney's Incredibles 2, but blown away at the volume of Mattel's Jurassic World/Legacy.:)
