Once again TRU screws me. Few days ago they had the Hydra soldiers up on TRU.com, put an order for 3 sets..today I get an email "sorry we screwed up they're not available..." Not the first time they've done it. >:(

That dumb Yellow Ex-Nihilo buck is good for customizing fodder. Marvel just making up dumber & dumber characters since I stopped collecting in 07".

As much as ex and thor were meh i have to say movie loki is my vote for one of the worst. His skin is super pale ( a bit more than it should be ), hes got kinda gothy make up around the eyes, doesnt have his effin knives, his costume isnt as green as many woulda like and probably what i hate most is his effin cape is a superb bitch to keep on.

Yeah the Missing Knives is my biggest complaint about him but other then that I actually like him haha.

Dont get me wrong the sculpt is good and so is the facial likeness, but the no knives and not as green as it should be and that stupid cape bugs me, so i gave him some ninja turtle sais haha. :)

Hahaha true man, Plus I didn't even notice how pale he was until You said something it looks like he's been living in a cave. And I just Glued that stupid cape on so it won't fall off again

I'm considering customizing Tombstone to have short sleeves.

I think TRU is a bit disgusting with their practices of not honoring products. They will have it in stock, just ask consumers if they want to wait till it's in stock.

My biggest peeve was Walmart this year. I ordered the Black Panther Walmart exclusive and they canceled it soon after, sending me an email about it was out of stock. The NEXT DAY, less than 24 Hours later, behold, back in stock except the price was 20 dollars, instead of the 15 dollars I originally paid. I got pissed and simply have not purchased a figure from them since then.

The detolf shelf updates continue- Finished up the Captain America V. RedSkull shelf today... X-Force and some work on the Avengers V. Ultron shelf and the MLs will be complete!

Toys R Us made sure they took my money for the Hydra 2-pack, but can't even guarantee me a pre-order. Beyond over Toys R Us to be honest.

I ordered one- Great figure- but his arm was pretty badly fused at the elbow and snapped off. Thankfully I ordered it from VipersKingdom (I don't trust the $10/ 0 feedback sellers)and they were quick to get a replacement out!

God damn that is fucking amazing!!!!! I wish I had your skills.

Oh, but yikes, Hasbro really needs to update Madame Hydra.

We wouldn't have to buy this KOs if Hasbro re-issue the most sought after figures and poorly distributed figures from the past. All they have to do is check on eBay which ones go for a pretty penny. It's crazy they don't do it more often.
They could just do Toys r us or Walgreens or any of those exclusives and free actual waves for new characters (live Executioner for Ares for example). The last Medusa is a perfect example.
Also to stop those pesky scalpers they should just release the SDCC figures separately like Blastaar or Magik. Living outside the US they cost us a fortune.

Way back, I purchased the four Charmed figures just for the backdrop that actually fits in the ikea cabinets. I wish I had more time to customise, but I still have robots to build that I bought years ago! Too lazy.

I feel bad for the members here saying that Toys R Us messed up their preorders. I have never had any issue with them. I ordered the Hydra two pack and got it over the weekend, no problem. Even back during the X-Men exclusive wave, I had zero issue there. I wonder if location has something to do with it?

I was also looking at some Thor characters we need and I always wonder why we don't have a Warriors Three yet? I feel like they are pretty important. I doubt there will be another Thor Ragnarok wave, but I'm really hoping we gets these guys (as well as others like Heimdall and Balder). The Warriors Three are perfect for 3 pack! Come on, Hasbro!

Yes, still a lot of potential for a second Thor wave though I agree very unlikely. I think they should have done it, even though we got a Thor SDCC set. take out the two repeats and you'd have three figures, and add in Heimdall, Comic Loki, MCU Sif and Beta Ray Bill...BAF either Ulik in which case I'd add another figure of Comic Thor, or leave Ulik as a single packed figure and make the BAF Surtur or Fenris. Granted won't be happening but it's nice to dream.

Just saw that the SDCC Thor set is back up for sale on Hasbro toy shop. I checked myself and was able to add it to my cart. I hope this helps anyone who missed it.

Wouldn't surprise me. They are cranking out some newer characters as of late. I'd bet we get an Amadeus Cho Hulk before too long.

I'd buy a Jaime Alexander Sif sooo damn fast man.

While we haven't personally bought him, I'm going to echo sentiment about Wave 2 Star-Lord (Scarf-Lord). Major Victory, Spider-UK and Ex Nihilo, while rather boring IMO, are figures that have places in some people's collections, and aren't bad figures on the face of it (using tried-and-true molds and having decent enough decos). I'll also agree that there's nothing compelling about the Young' Thor Odinson figure (especially when compared to Unworthy Odinson from the SDCC set).

My personal pick is the A-Force She-Hulk. A She-Hulk update could've been great, but this figure just has the wrong proportions all the way around. Legs, forearms, head, all needed some resizing to make a more cohesive figure. The worst part is that she's not bad, per se, she's just a letdown.

But other than that, generally, it's been a good year. Either that, or our selectivity has kept us away from the stinkers :D

...Yeah, there's very little wrong with the Kamala figure. Sure, she suffers a little bit of articulation hampering due to her skirt, and she could use at least some swivel-wrists for her alternate arms, but other than that, she's a great use of the Teen Girl mold, which is a decent mold to begin with. So this makes no sense (aside from personal character preference, but that doesn't make it a 'worst figure' thing, does it?)

..."dumber and dumber characters" translates to "characters I don't have an interest in and therefore are lame and a waste because my opinion is the one that matters," right?

I mean, I don't give two craps about Ex Nihilo, but that doesn't make him a "dumb" character, or a "dumb" choice. Just one targeted towards someone other than me.

Suddenly, things make a bit more sense :D
