Are the new Ironman/Thor , Captain America/Wolverine CPs the same as the old. They have different UPCs and I have seen NO pics of the new ones.

behindthemask 08-09-2012 12:47 PM

rather then send 7 emails and wait a minute between each time, figured ppl will see this anybody who bought items or did a trade with me with the exception of Gerrillius has been mailed today.

Agreed. I won't believe it's real unless someone posts the same thing for sale elsewhere.

Luckily we haven't seen the upside-down/upside-up packaging variants of any of the Spideys of Wave 18 or 19 yet. I really hope those don't exist. I don't need to own 4 of the same card of anything (though I've hit that on the Captain Marvel and Doc Samson cards...)

Amazon.com: Used and New: Spider-Man Marvel Universe Action Figure

Ultimate Spiderman from Past Generation Toys is 13.95 with free shipping.

Thanks dude! I did a PGT order, but they had to cancel since they haven't received their stock from Hasbro yet. I did the next best one instead and should have a Miles in my hands in the next week! :)

Nope. I believe there's some inventory/resets happening now/soon, so maybe right after that. My Targets JUST got the new 2-Packs, weeks after the first Target sightings.

You make an EXCELLENT case there. I like eBay because you don't have to set a price if you don't want to, you can let the market determine the value. I try not to buy there unless I have to, but I find Amazon's search methods extremely difficult to navigate. They used to have the same MU figure on there 5-6 times with different names. Impossible to find the best price if listings are all over the place...

Just a bad day, Ben. Breathe and hold hands with us as we all wait for these beauties to show up at retail in bulk...

I just can't stop. Not everything is available on pre-order, and most things can be acquired for less than retail if you're clever enough. Hard to pay $12 a figure when you might be able to work it down to $3-5 in 6 months or so.

@pete - Yep, ebay. They cost me $16 and $25 I think. Two separate auctions. I should have bought a second Miles (the s/h would have been combined) and traded it to Soundwave for that Loki. D'oh!

Dude, you inspired me. I couldn't wait to 'miss' the variants any longer, so I jumped on Miles for $14 and Baghead for $28 (shipped of course). I guess Bag-Head makes more sense to be more expensive since the Wave hasn't officially shipped yet, just here and there.

I really wonder what retail is going to look like. If Wave 19 catches up enough, some stores could conceivably skip 18 altogether!

I mean I am talking I still have a MU ult gift set in a box in my closet...no intentions to open it, but I remember picking it up, cause I thought the sheild was cool! havnt opened it yet, and I got it at xmas...shit like that confuses me, and I am too lazy to ship a box of its weird shape so its never hit my bst...

^^^ dont remember where I was going with that...

Solid plan. If you pay close attention to when stores get stock, you can cut your Hunting in half or more by only showing up when they have new stock. It's tricky and luck is involved, but it beats hitting the same 10 stores biweekly for a month.

I hate that this is so true. Spideys will be collecting cobwebs...

I found a sentinel at a Marshalls. It was silver. I thought, "That's weird, oh well," and started carrying it to the register. The box fell open and the Sentinel fell out. Someone bought the comic colored version and returned the silver one, doing a poor job of it! The silver one even had wear marks on it from play/display! Needless to say, it's still at the store.

Wait, hookers take paypal? Can someone confirm this? How about strippers?

I envision a lot of iPhones with card swipers attached...

We've seen just about every new Marvel movie (post-Iron Man) and have made the journey to SDCC the last few years. She recently got me a *secret* Hot Toys figure for Christmas...the box is in the closet...staring at me...and I can't open it for a few months, lol.

She's a keeper!

Mine LOVES the movies, insists on midnight showings, and is really getting into cosplaying Marvel characters she's never read or knows nothing about. She was Phoenix this year, and Emma Frost last year. If his costume wasn't so Derpy, I would have been Cyclops both years myself...

I used this picture as my 'cover image' on Facebook, and it's blowing up. I'm sure you guys would appreciate it more. ;)

ashketch 08-09-2012 12:59 PM

Was at my local target and TRU, some spidey/rhino Packs, no FF doom/spideys. Target had a crap load of mandarin/ironman and wolvie/hulks

Jimmyo 08-09-2012 01:00 PM

PGT canceled my order to (or offered to keep in until they get their shipment in Sept.)

Yep. I'm never gonna have the same collection I used to so off with it.

You can send one PM to 5 people max. So in theory you'd be sending two PMs.

On the left side of your PM box, you will see the option: Send New Message. Just type in recipients, etc.

I'll send mass PMs to Arkers I'm dealing with. Very convenient and u don't have to waste 7 minutes of your life sending 7 PMs.

But if the upcoming Nova has the modern version then Im cool with the modern version of Quasar so I can have the Super Cosmic team of Marvel!! (hehe the name of the group escapes me)

I'm still hoping for this version instead.

But I'd settle for whatever his current Annihilators costume is.

Alright, went home on my lunch break. I've been working on Kl'rt for about a week now and I'm still not done. I still have to do some touch up work and fix some of the paint spots. Then seal the paint. A question for the customizers, what do you use to seal the paint? I have a gloss finish but I want something more matte style. Is there a paint on style matte finish or just spray? I also used super glue in the joint areas to prevent paint rub. I'm also going to do some hot glue gun accessories when I get home from work but here is what I worked up for now.

I feel like the base of that custom would also make an awesome Sith custom of some sorts.

This custom was bound and determined to kick my a$$ but I finished it anyway. Not my best work but it will fill in the gap in the 90's X-men roster until hasbro makes him.

scottmurdock 08-09-2012 03:15 PM

NOT your "best work" is still better than mine, lol. Great Bishop bud! I just finished mine yesterday, I like the costume on yours. Sculpted scarf?

Tiberius 08-09-2012 03:19 PM

Dear Really Good Customizers,

I feel that ROM The Spaceknight needs to be made, asap.

Yours Truly,
Tiberius
