https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...35039f86_b.jpg Got the Studio Series "Blitzwing" today. This guy is Blitzwing in name only and even then nobody actually says his name in the movie, he doesn't triple-form into a tank and then he also lacks Blitzwing's colors or personality (granted Animated is really the only time he had a personality). Really this character is Ramjet's color scheme applied to a standard seeker frame. Onto the toy though, this is a pretty cool toy. I did note that on a few of the tabs/pegs mine had excess plastic which I had to scrape off with a hobby knife to get those pieces to connect properly for transformation. This doesn't ruin my opinion of the overall figure but it's extra work to enjoy the toy that seems like Hasbro's QC should have been on top of, so points off for that. The transformation itself isn't the most complicated but there are a few parts like getting his neck to plug into his torso while also dealing with his shoulder bits that can be annoying to handle. His plane mode then is just good but certainly not great, there's quite a bit of arm kibble under the wings and the back tail section is a bit weird looking with his robot toes just kind of sitting in that area. The paint is also less remarkable in plane mode. The robot mode on the other hand is pretty great. This design (much like the Bumblebee movie Optimus) is just a really cool modern take on the G1 seeker that sports a lot of nice sculpted details (I love this headsculpt), more notable paint apps than plane mode, and some nicely done accessories to display it as you wish. It also sizes up pretty well compared to the Earthrise seeker figures, the plane is approximately the same size but the robot is a bit taller yet also thinner so as to not appear oddly larger. It's not without faults but it's still a cool Transformer for the collection. |

Stormtroopers from Amazon, Hasbropulse.com order and Starlord67 shipment. Logan and Charles are fantastic. Logan could be a civilian army builder. Star Wars 501st Arc Trooper set will fit in well with Capt Rex and the other Clone Troopers. Luke and Yoda are good. Luke has open holes on his shoulders. SC is the 2nd Iron Man figure next the 80th Anniversary edition that I have been waiting for.
