Hell i havent even seen the locus halo guy at walgreens yet.

Thanks, I have so many marvel legends, 4 totes worth. Just displaying them becomes a chore so I rotate them constantly. Eventually when I get a bigger space I can give my ML collection the display space it deserves.

Great pics Kain. Love the final shot of the eyes changed. You need the other torso version with it zipped up top for the first pic, then opened after Morbius gets to her.

Im ready for some new figures !!! Granted i still have 20 of them i didn't open but i miss looking around for some new toys.
|
...I don't know how some of you guys can go any amount of time without opening your stuff (if you're a loose collector, that is). The most I've ever let myself get backlogged is, like, a day or two, and never long enough to have more than a wave's worth of toys unopened.
Is it other priorities keeping you from it? A desire to wait until you have a pile to open? I just know that, when we get a bunch of new figures, my wife and I decide who gets to open what, and sit down and open them all together right then. |
Great pics, Dr Kain!

I totally have the time to crack them straight away and find them a spot on the shelf quickly - but I prefer to savour the experience somewhat. I'll sit down, pop something on in the background (a movie I've seen before or maybe some stand-up - something I don't have to watch constantly) and take my time over it. Probably not opening everything that I've got to open - but I'd do wavemates together, especially if there's a BAF coming out of it. I'll check all the joints, test posing with any accessories and then set aside. Once I've opened all I'm going to do in that sitting, I'll pose them for a group shot or two - then transport them to the man cave to await the next shelf-shuffle. I'll also deconstruct all the packaging for recycling. I'm not a sealed collector - but it's also nice to appreciate the packaged product for a while too. I also prefer to have a proper shelf-shuffle from time to time than to keep squeezing additional figures in gaps. The display can really start to suffer quickly from unplanned cameos! Interested to hear others thoughts on this too! |

Also, you keep saying that, and yet it's a non-issue around here, or at least in this thread, aside from some good-natured ribbing (don't really go elsewhere). So it might be time to hang that one up, mang. |

I'm pretty much an immediate opener too. Sadly they just go into a box after that due to space issues, but they are loose. I would have no way to have a boxed collection.
I do have a second Polaris though that will forever be in a box as a memorial to the triumph to her finally being released. Does that count? |
