Cali already got it in one or two TRUs to the north. It was actually West Texas who got it first in their TRUs this time. The only other state so far is Oklahoma...

Dunno if it's old news or not. Found in NYC. :) yaah Skull

It's news alright! I saw it on FB and started to make my way over here, but didn't make it in time. Good thing too, the FB image is missing the Target Exclusive sticker!

Heart eaten sir! That post was better than ANY of mine. :)

So now what do you do while these waves come out over the next 6 months? (I'm going to do the same exact thing I think)

I dunno, I suppose try to track down the XMen 3 pack with Rogue?

And exactly why I went with the cases. I don't trust this stuff to show up in easy to get circulation in my area, and the frustration is not worth it.

Loving the pics of the new waves, it's been a long time coming! I need to play the waiting game and wait til these are available in the US en masse at retail

Professor X wave courtesy of my buddy Zak, who got it from Robot Kingdom

Blade courtesy of Evil Bay, for 40 bucks, which is a decent price considering his current value.
http://i1248.photobucket.com/albums/...y/IMG_2958.jpg

I've been wanting a vehicle for Punisher, i was gonna try to get a 1:18 scale pontiac gto but the only ones with the correct body style to the movie, were not only expensive, but were "The Judge" color, and that would be a shame to paint over. So I hit marshalls yesterday looking for sentinals or IM figs, and happened upon this gem, 1:18 scale Hummer HX concept, in OD green. No paint required, and I think is a perfect vehicle to shuttle the talented Mr. Castle around town whilst he stomps mud holes in nare do well's asses. All for the low low price of 19.99. Cheers to you marshalls, cheers to you.

Why the **** do I have to build the Detolf upside down and then flip it over? That's some sort of Swedish joke hidden into the instructions right?

Nah, I haven't started yet but these instructions are nonsense. One of the last steps is putting the feet on, then the two people flip it over.

NoodleChow 08-11-2012 03:26 PM

NEW TOYS! :D
got Beast and BRB from a buddy, Hulk/Wolvy set from FrankCastle, and special thanks to GERRILLIUS too for hooking up said friend.

had to shave (ha!) away from Beast's hips and back of the knees just to add a tiny bit more range. the top of his hips were also starting to cut into the ribbings in the pant legs. :[

Apologies in advance for the pics dump:

Marvel Universe question:

I only collect the X-Men

I have:

Wolverine
Cyclops
Jean Grey
Colossus
Shadow Kat
Storm
Nightcrawler
Gambit
Iceman
Archangel
Psylocke
Magneto
Juggernaut
Apocalypse
Mystique
Sentinel
Gladiator (just because I loved his character the Phoenix Saga)

I am waiting on Professor X and Jubilee but passing on and waiting for a 90's version Beast

And hoping for Bishop, Rogue and Morph

From the characters that have been released thus far, does Cable fit into this genre? Should I include him?

IIRC, it is done on the side and then flipped upright

I believe it has to do with structural integrity. I've assembled a lot of furniture that specifically states not to stand it until the back is afixed securely. it is a giant pain in the backside but with something that fragile I might be more inclined to follow the instructions, that's me though. either way good luck with that bro it is tedious and if you have thick fingers like me the screws & such will drive you nuts ;)

got em off ebay, should be called something like "Stage Act 4 Support Stands"

stage act 4 stand | eBay

also, i recommend getting Cable since he's a solid figure even if he is ridiculously tall compared to everyone else.

Thats your call, Lody, but I would say yes. I don't collect every MU character, only specific lines, ane of those lines is X-Men. I put Cable with my X-Men because his costume can fit in pretty much any era.

KingLouie731 08-11-2012 03:37 PM

for those customizers who know the character Talon, do you think this modern beast would be a good base for him?

*comicbookdb linked to character name

mikefavata 08-11-2012 04:19 PM

I followed the directions, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. It's now right side up, just need to put the door on, the shelves in & anchor it.

OK

see now, we're getting more in X-Force

I want to stick with just the X-Men

Does Havok really fit in there?

Not refering to costume but just the character

Not concerned with his size compared to everyone else or how the charatcer is contruscted-I am thinking more along the lines of how he fits into the X-Men universe-is he essential?

Why not include Multiple Man since he was in the movie...but I dont want to go that route.
