McToys Steel figure arrived today. Nice looking figure. Thanks Todd! I told my wife it's our co-Valentines day present.

amazon green lantern kilowag and kyle set revealed.
link should be up soon https://i.toynewsi.com/g/generated/T...scaled_600.jpg |
^That's a good set. If I collected this line, I'd get that for sure. Even despite the superfluous texturing...
|
I actually like to keep the trading cards that come with all these figures. I like to use them as bookmarks for the comics that I read.
What drunken poozer picked that art for Kilowog? Of all the artwork of Kilowog, that's what they go with? I'd almost rather it be a picture of the action figure in a vanilla pose. Kilowog looks great though and I'm at least grateful that we are getting constructs (hammer looks great). |

Kilowog looks great but I'll wait it out and see if he gets a single release.
|
Why wouldn’t you put in Guy Gardner instead of Kyle for the 3rd time there. At least spare us from the one of the ugliest costume design in comics.
|
I've never understood the appeal of Kyle Rayner. And I'll be passing on the set. Maybe someone could explain the appeal? And there already exist no fewer than three (3) Kyle Rayner figures. Yeah, I know what you're thinking because we're thinking the same thing - where's Shayera Hol? LOL.
Kilowog looks awesome. Hope for a single release. As far as more appealing figures (lantern-wise) however, I'd take Jessica Cruz, Super Friends Hal Jordan, 70s afro John Stewart, or Guy Gardner. |

Yup, that's why Kyle & this costume are my favorite GL.
I wish they'd used metallic paint on this duo. |
Yup these are the best green lanterns. And 100% comic acurate.
|
Maybe it's one of those things "you had to be there for" but I've never given a rat's ass about Rayner.
|
Would have been better to include Guy or Arisa or Jade instead of yet another Kyle.
|
That gl set is way awesome but ugh…..that price is definitely not.

But I do agree Hawkgirl is sorely missing. Especially a Rebirth version to finish out that incarnation of the Justice League. So far it’s just Kendra and Cyborg missing. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/wp...ver.jpg?w=1047 Quote:

I would have used the Hal buck but included different heads for different lanterns get the most out of it. Kind of like what the dcuc did.

During that time DC was in the phase of finding the next generation of characters. Well....another generation. And during the 90's? When things were booming? That was pinnacle. When I was a kid/teenager? Hal was boring as f**k. With his ear and hammer constructs. He was bland as s**t. He actually only got interesting when....with the combination of his cocky attitude and him failing his city, he cracked. And became Parallax. So they found a new person. A more relatable person for that generation. He was wrote well and had fun stories. And he was incorporated awesomely with the JLA. How they tossed him aside because Geoff Johns has a hard on for Hal still burns me. But hey....this shit is cyclical. |
