Why do people like him so much?

I just find his character very likable. He has a very quiet dignity, and confidence.

I would gladly take some of Fury's screen time away to give to Coulson. I like Sam Jackson's Fury, but a little Sam Jackson goes a long way.

Besides, Coulson is the only "non-super" that got a good lick in on Loki.

What's not to like?

It's 2015. The head of production for Disney has already said they want to get Ant Man out first. A three year turn around time isn't bad. Just the pre production and post production work will likely take more than a year.

And yes, they filmed back to the future, harry potter and the lord of the rings back to back. These were productions featuring the same actors in on the same sets with the same film crews including directors.

Thor and IM3 an Ant Man all have diff directors with different production companies and different filimng locations. Given all three will probably not wrap up till late 2013 I doubt its possible to have a quality sequel before 2015

I thought I remembered hearing that about Ant Man. I read so much news and rumors that its difficult to sort out sources some times lol. But I do know that Marvel plans to release 2 films a year going forward (Marvel Studios; not including Sony or Fox films) and that out of the next 3 there are 2 unannounced films. Ant man is a rumor I've heard about for a while but even Kevin isn't offering hints at this point.

Yes they have the rights, Edgar Wright has been attached to direct for a while now. He actually teased some Ant-Man artwork this week. (maybe) He's doing a comedy next then either Ant-Man or the Johnny Depp Movie Night Stalker.



As far as what I expect to see, that's nearing production, Ant-Man and GotG. I'd WANT the other two to be the BW stand alone picthed by ScarJo as it could be greenlit quickly
with limited CGI needed and an Antman/BP combo movie.

I don't consider Kristen Stewart an actor. She's awful in human form. Even if she was never attached to the Twilight films, she'd still be the #1 worst actor in movies of all time.

I don't get it either. I'm happy there's something about him that resonates with fans of the movies, but I've always seen his character as a bit part of little to no significance.

They sure played up his popularity in the Avengers, likely just to appease fans.

Saw the movie with greenskar for the 2nd time. I loved it and I was able to pick things up more the 2nd time around. There were times when nick fury was talking and I swear he could have said, "Is the sun on the left motherfucker!!!" Okay okay he didn't say motherfucker but every time samuel jackson talks I hear it. It was the scene where the helicarrier was being taken over.

Billion dollar club!! Saw it for the 2nd time Saturday. Tried for 3d Imax, they had to cancel the showing. Refunded everyone's money, they must of lost 3-4k on that one showing alone, plus gave everyone a free movie pass.

It was just as good the 2nd time. My buddy that went with me felt it was overhyped so wasn't as blown away like he was expecting. Can't wait for blue ray!!

But you're also assuming that none of the other actors/crew involved with Avengers would be doing anything else during that window you've alluded to. Also, since Black Widow and Hawkeye are S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in this universe, there's no reason they couldn't be used if the second Cap film is set in modern times. Maybe Natasha helps Bucky recover from his Winter Soldier persona, assuming they go with that story for the sequel?

Basically, what I'm saying is that while it is possible for an actor to do two films at once, it is extremely unlikely especially with an ensemble cast like the Avengers. Notice that Marvel Studios didn't do any other movies this year....

We can only hope.

I liked him because he was a recurring character through four Marvel films (IM 1 & 2, Thor and Avengers). To me, he provided additional world-building and helped connect the films more so than just the end-credits scenes.
