Whoa. Thought that said retcon armor for a second, I would've loved to see that...damned dyslexia.

Don't feel bad, "Reactron" is a word that didn't exist prior to Hasbro deciding it sounded good on this weird Iron Man.

I can picture the meeting...

"What should we call this thing?"

"I dunno, it's so dark it's almost black. How about Night Assault Armor?"

"Nah, we just did that for Cap's line. What does Iron Man have again?"

"Repulsors? Mini Ark Reactor? JARVIS?"

"A reactor! That's it! We'll call it Reactron armor!"

"Reactron? What the hell is that?"

"It's reactor with tron at the end. It's great right?"

I know Walmart clearances are generally YYMV, but I found Thor deluxes today down to $2 each. Picked up the remaining Frost Giants that I could find (only 2). Also, IM, Captain America, and Thor regular single carded figures were at $5 each. Snagged a few of those as well. Might be worth a look if you held off on anything. I know I always wanted that CA Winter Soldier and a few IM concept molds.

Might even pick up some of those Deluxe Thors for their joints in case I ever try customs...say adding articulation to the Avenger toys.

TRU Canada is having a 2 for $15 on all Marvel 3.75" figures this week. Not bad considering they sell these for $10.99 right now. Got my Ultimate Thor and Hawkeye priced matched. Also, after not having a single MU figure since NOVEMBER they just got the Iron Fist wave. Too bad the only Psylocke they had was painted horribly.

Tiberius 03-02-2012 08:20 PM

Nice to hear Canada is finally getting some MU figures..

Few and far between. It seems like 1/3 of the waves get skipped entirely. Allows me to support my LCBS I guess but the figures are $12.99-$19.99 there. I sorely miss California.

Reactron was my disapointment to Tron: Legacy figures....followed closely by Rejectron.

Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America are $5 each at my local Walmarts, so check yours as well.

itMFtis 03-05-2012 11:25 AM

Guardians of the Galaxy 3-pack for $13.50 at Amazon. Not really familiar with the characters but I know I've seen them everywhere for $20 so this is a pretty good deal.

Amazon.com: Marvel Universe Guardians Of The Galaxy: Toys & Games

wolverine2281 03-05-2012 12:49 PM

Many walmarts have them on clearance for a few bucks

quinten182 03-05-2012 03:41 PM

Picked up Odin (finally) and some Frost Giants today for 3.89 a piece. End cap at Target.. like 5 aisles down away from toys.. weird spot.. but hey, cheap toys.

arkitect76 03-05-2012 07:00 PM

Amoktime.com has the Arkham City Deluxe Figures (Killer Croc and Mr Freeze only) for $35 and change....with shipping and taxes, if applicable, still comes out cheaper than BBTS...or anywhere else at this point...avg. about $43 each after taxes/shipping if you buy at least 2 i think...

Found those Masterworks Sentinals on clearance at Walmart for $10! Snagged 2 today because I was too lazy to go back to the entrance for a cart. Get em while they're hot :) Might grab one more just to have a round number of 5 in my collection.

Also if anyone collect Star Wars stuff, I found a Cad Bane for .75 on clearance. Wasn't interested in swivel hip figures but can't complain for under a buck. There were pegs full of Vintage Rebel Soldiers also in the clearance section but I didn't run a scan on them.

kmoua7 03-08-2012 01:43 PM

Hot Damn! That's a good deal, I doubt we'll have any at that price around here tho.

DC Direct Arkham City Killer Croc Action Figure

DC Direct Arkham City Mr. Freeze Action Figure

How reliable is this site?

I'd buy two for that price, but I haven't seen them go for less than $40.

I bought Croc. If you want to wait and use me as the Guinea Pig, feel free to, but I think it's safe... you pay through PayPal, so you're pretty much protected regardless. And they don't actually bill you until the figure ships.. not a bad sign.

quinten182 03-08-2012 03:35 PM

Good god that's ridiculous. 10 bucks a sentinel? You have receipt pics? I will head out for a walmart extravanganza marathon if it's true, but I'd rather be sure it exists somewhere. :P

wolverine2281 03-08-2012 04:09 PM

someone else in Vegas picked a couple up for $10 also. Posted receipt pics too

yourfacehere 03-20-2012 07:22 PM

Anybody have good coupons for bbts?

Much appreciated but I have officially run out of funds, and my cash will be going toward fuel and food for a bit until I finish this semester. You're the shit though. :bats

Just FYI, if anyone didnt post this before, the MU Giant Sized X-men 6 pack 35th anniversary is going for $25 on disneystore.com ... Better than the $40-60 rate they are going for elsewhere. OH and they have Captain Marvel, Bleeding Edge Ironman, Spiderwoman, Doc Sampson, and Spiderman2099 for $6 each i think if you havent already collected them!

Must be getting rid of excess stock, that's what they get for over pricing them.

If Dog Fashion Disco hadn't already hooked me up with that set I'd bite but I don't care about the repaints enough to worry about it
