OK

see now, we're getting more in X-Force

I want to stick with just the X-Men

Does Havok really fit in there?

X-Force is X-Men though.......

Cable is an X-Man and Cyclops' son; he's played quite the key role in several X-Men stories over the years.

Havok is Cyclops' younger brother and whilst has always been used in an auxiliary role or as an X-Factor, I have him in mine as I like the character

Smart move. It's not always easy, but if you have some intestinal fortitude, it can be done.

Fever has a lot to do w it. Personally I'm getting over MU, so maybe that's why I don't care as much.

I "appreciate" my true friends in this thread, but MU is starting to fade from my mindset.

Boba Fettuccini 08-11-2012 05:07 PM

Seeing those H3/Punisher photos made me do some thinking and measuring and equations and stuff.

For people looking for scale accessories for Marvel Universe, MU is actually 1:16 scale, not 1:18.

I only collect the X-Men

I have:

Wolverine
Cyclops
Jean Grey
Colossus
Shadow Kat
Storm
Nightcrawler
Gambit
Iceman
Archangel
Psylocke
Magneto
Juggernaut
Apocalypse
Mystique
Sentinel
Gladiator (just because I loved his character the Phoenix Saga)

I am waiting on Professor X and Jubilee but passing on and waiting for a 90's version Beast

And hoping for Bishop, Rogue and Morph

From the characters that have been released thus far, does Cable fit into this genre? Should I include him?

I suppose it really depends. if you are looking 90's comic style I've highlighted the essentials. IF you are looking for TAS style then it would appear to me you are buying within the X-men that you like with the essentials as a starting point and branching out. I have most if not all of the figures you have listed and look forward to the rest.

As far as Cable goes it really could go either way. I picked him up in the hopes that they will make more X-force members and even if they don't he was pretty big guest star in TAS so there's that. I've rambled and I'm not sure I've said anything helpful but either way I'm on page 1400 of this thread and that is an accomplishment in and of itself ;)

For anybody that doesn't know me I post over on some other forums under that same name.

Welcome, Tofujesse! Loooove your stuff! I'm sharing some of my parts haul with a couple of Toyark's customizers, so you'll see some stuff made from your parts in no time!
Loving that Wraith armor you just listed- I gotta get a few to make Alien Legion figs!
Do you sculpt some of the more unique pieces? There's a million MU heads I'd love to see that would be fairly easy- like the Beetle or the 90's Iron Man helmet with no mouth.

Anyway, here's to you, Mr. Custom-Parts-Making Man- you're today's Real Man of Genius!

Why not include Multiple Man since he was in the movie...but I dont want to go that route.

Cable is a very important player in the X-Men universe. His role throughout the years has been pivotal to mutant and human survival.

You can get cheap 1:16th RC cars from Amazon and have something crazy cool to srove your MU guys around in.

You gotta role with the punches. Collecting has never been easy. I look to this place as one of support. It's a great place to vent when things are bad, and an awesome place to appreciate when things are good.

There are some on here that seem to hold grudges and make drama. But I would never let a few bad apples shape my opinion of the Ark. Too many cool peoples up in here.:PBJ

gunzilla 08-11-2012 05:31 PM

^^^^ I couldn't agree more

I look at most pics here and I'm like you guys have awesome cameras I used my cell to post a pic and was embarrassed enough to never post pics until I get a camera lol ;)

Oh the agony! Thought I found something good too, but alas missing Mandarin, would have like to see what he really look like...

jaybird7072 08-11-2012 05:34 PM

wow thats like the repack from hell :(

Jason Abbadon 08-11-2012 05:34 PM

Mandarin on that pack look pretty blah but not as bad as that lame Whiplash fig.

Comparison shot. Kitty is on an X-23 body with her original forearms.

Kitty looks nice. I love comparison shots... MU looks pretty decent scale-wise... until someone puts Cable in the picture. LOL.

Awesome! You need to jettison Thor and put Dr. Strange in there... and also Nova when he comes out. Or you know... whoever else is supposed to be in that group, cuz I'm not really sure what I'm talking about. LOL.

Oh, I quoted Shin Densetsu's post and it seems to be gone so I thought I was in the wrong area. Was there some battle over some figures and people were cussing at each other and the hate was flying then some baby told them to chill out but then a Shin Densetsu ended it with Infinity Gauntlet like powers so there is no trace of it happening? Or was that a dream?

Good call! Now someone with a Rinzler and a Beast figure please step forward with a picture of Beast holding discs in that pose! :D

Not a dream- an alternate reality where everyone here hates on each other instead of being totally cool, like we are.

Also, all the members were female except Veronica, so it was totally backwards.
