Yeah, it said it was 1:18 on the box, and 4 inch figs look good next to it, but there's no way they can sit in it. Not nearly enough clearance between the seat and the steering wheel. So I think they were off in their measurements.

I saw a 4door black 1:18 Mercedes too, that I considered picking it up for something, but didn't have a reason to, or couldn't think of something to use it for, so I left it.

But overall I dig it, I think it has a pretty awesome look to it, and makes a nice whip for Frankie boy.

Anyone still need a comic colored Sentinel? Got one for cost plus ship (shipping will probably be around $15 though im guessing).

Thanks. I have some experience doing it, it's just that the Detolfs have a larger gap than the ones I worked on.

also, i recommend getting Cable since he's a solid figure even if he is ridiculously tall compared to everyone else.

Love those stands! I picked up a few when I was in Japan. Might have to grab some more.
Btw, awesome pics! The X-23 legs on Kitty Pryde looks awesome. I did that with my Black Widow. Looks so much better

trekking95 08-11-2012 09:26 PM

So stage 4 is the best out of 1, 2 and 3?

I look at most pics here and I'm like you guys have awesome cameras I used my cell to post a pic and was embarrassed enough to never post pics until I get a camera lol ;)

i think even with phone cameras if you get some decent lighting going and block out the background, they'll turn out pretty darn well. i'd always opt for more pics in this thread so go ahead and throw yours out there :D

Kitty looks nice. I love comparison shots... MU looks pretty decent scale-wise... until someone puts Cable in the picture. LOL.

Awesome! You need to jettison Thor and put Dr. Strange in there... and also Nova when he comes out. Or you know... whoever else is supposed to be in that group, cuz I'm not really sure what I'm talking about. LOL.

i tried fitting some ID discs in beast's hands but a no go for now. :P

also yeah i put thor in there for scale but oh lawdy do i need that upcoming nova and hopefully ronan makes it out. otherwise been thinking about making one using a colossus as the base figure

yup, i only have 3 of the stage 4 ones and i need at least 6 more for the display. and thanks dude, only thing i wish about the x23 body is that the thighs were more meaty and the calves a bit shorter.

i've only used the stage 3 and stage 4 ones. i'd say overall stage 4 is betterish since they're sturdier feeling and have more versatile clamps for bigger figures to ones with smaller waists but it's limited in height. stage 3 has swappable bars and hinges so you can adjust the height as you please and easily beats out stage 4 in that regard. both are pretty good to have though.

The Hummer is true 1:18th scale,if you put an ARAH Joe against it,its a much better match, the problem is that MU+Joe have crept up in size, most are closer to 4inches now, rather than 3.75,and despite what people say size DOES matter, they arent just taller either, its an increase exponentially,so they probably scale at about 1:16th or 1:17th now......

Early movie figs and star wars are still 3 3/4

Niiice did they rerelease that widow or did he have it in his collection?

wolverine2281 08-12-2012 02:46 AM

this was from his personal collection. Still unreleased

Jason Abbadon 08-12-2012 03:46 AM

Honestly...that looks terrible. I know it might be some holy grail fig to a completist, but it's awful- she looks like she's got a receeding hairline.
If that was actually released, we'd be calling it total crap- which is probably why it was never released in the first place.

Not to pee in your punch, man- I'm happy you're happy.

If someone wants a nice short hair BW head, Tofujesse has one for a couple of bucks you could paint.

Hey all. Just wanted to let you know that TRUs website has updated, and the new Comic 2 packs are available for shipping. I have no idea what some of the two packs are, so if anyone has any images of them, I'd appreciate it. They currently show that they have the following available:

Wolverine vs. Cap
Thor vs. IM
Spider-Man vs ____ ??? (Anyone know about this one?)
Juggernaut vs. Colossus (I just bought 2 of these! woohoo!)
Wolverine _____ (Which one is this? She-Hulk?)
The Night Avengers (who's in this one?)
Spider-Man vs. Rhino

So I know what figs come in 4 of those packs because of the titles, but who's in the other 3?

Black Spidey vs. Doom is still out of stock. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble on that one. Anyways, do a search for Marvel Comic 2 Pack and organize by recently added. Grab 'em while they're hot! Good Luck!

So I went hunting today.
First stop Walmart - nothing good on clearance & nothing new
2nd stop Kmart - Oddball Clone Pilot on vintage card missed out on any of the others in that wave (I left Oddball) $10 Cap 3 pack meh I will wait until another 50% off sale no Joes left at all
3rd stop Meijer- no new MU they had 1 Gladiator, 1 Apocalypse, 2 Dr. Stranges, & 1 of each color wave 1 Iron Mans; I got the last 2 RoC Destros on clearance.
4th stop - Ross absolutely nothing good, however Young Justice figures are showing up there as are Thundercats. I could use a Kid Flash & Cheetara if anyone finds some.
5th stop TJ Maxx - nothing good
last stop Target - clearance stuff was wiped out junk left over; no new MU & apparently missed Black Widow as only Hulk was left from that wave I don't really need one anymore but I was hoping to help out some friends.

WoRkAh0LiC 08-12-2012 04:42 AM

Wolverine2281, thanks for the info! I think I may go grab one of those Night Avengers packs since I don't have a Mandarin yet. So the Wolvie pack is just regular Hulk? I was hoping it was She-Hulk, but I may still grab one for the heck of it. And I've seen tons of those Spidey/Britain ones all of my local stores. Thanks for clearing that one up especially. I would have bought it just to see who's in it and would have been very disappointed lol.

Also, some info for you guys... There is a new Target Exclusive 8 pack of the Avengers figs that someone posted about earlier, but you can actually get some of them on single cards if you wait a bit. They are supposed to be released in September...

Took this from EE website...

Avengers Movie Action Figures Wave 4 Revision 1:
Bring home the Earth's mightiest heroes!
12 action figures straight out of the big The Avengers movie.
They're all hyper-ready to do battle against evil! Figures measure about 4-inches tall. Ages 4 and up.
Bring home the Earth's mightiest heroes! These fantastic action figures are straight out of the big The Avengers movie. They're all hyper-ready to do battle against evil!
This case contains 12 individually packaged action figures (subject to change):
1x Marvel's Hawkeye
1x Heavy Artillery Iron Man
1x Gamma Smash Hulk
1x Cosmic Spear Loki
2x Reactron Armor Iron Man
1x Hawkeye
1x Black Widow
1x Skrull Soldier
1x Cosmic Axe Chitauri (Movie)
1x Nick Fury
1x Super Articulated Iron Man
(subject to change)

I was happy to see this because I need a Nick Fury. Has anyone had a glimpse of the Super Articulated Iron Man? Might this be the Mk. VII? I hope so. If you have info on it, let me know or post a pic! Thanks.

EDIT: Just FYI, the Jugg/Colossus showed as being available, then changed to sold out, and then a few minutes late it changed again to being available again. So weird... I guess people are buying them up and they are releasing more stock into online sales. Pretty quick reaction time for TRU - that's rare.

I was just doing some online browsing/hunting and found this on Wal-Mart.com. It says if you order site-to-store it may be available as soon as 08/17 (Friday). I know HTS had it up for sale, but it's sold out right now. So it looks like we'll see this in stores pretty soon. (unless they've already been spotted and I missed the announcement)
