Why not pre-order though Sideshow? They are really good, and when you sign up, they send you a $15 off code for your first order, and you can set up a payment plan.
|
And lets not forget, they had their site exclusives :)

I'd pick Sideshow over BBTS. I've ordered from both and while been successful, Sideshow is like buying directly from mattel or hasbro rather than a third party like BBTS or Target.

Sideshow is a company, and I believe Hot Toys uses them as a distributor or is a partner. Sideshow is based in Southern California, and produce 12" figures and various statues of their own. They have also started on life-size statues, there is a crazy Darth Malgus on there for $6k!!

bbts is cheaper atm. by 20. I'm going with them. And holy shit at the batmobile prices. That's almost my rent. Could never justify buying that 1989 batmobile. Even if I wanted it badly |

I just started my DC collection a few weeks ago, so only have wave 17 lanterns, a Sinestro Corp Cyborg Supes, and a DCD GL Sinestro (which I hate LOL) I also have a few Bat figures :) But I'm trying to trade for a few more. |
nice...good start!
not including any old vintage DC toys I had growing up, my collection started a few years back, its a pain in the butt tracking down some of the older figures but extremely satisfying when you finally get them. I personally love the DCUC figures over the Marvel Legends...however the newer Marvel Legends are WAY better than the old IMO. DC Direct makes beautiful figures but articulation stinks and some are hard to stand due to poses they are molded in. Anyway which DCUC's are you looking for? since they are on clearance just about everywhere now....just about a week ago or so I found an All-Star Batman for less then $10 i believe. Also a good time to buy a few for customs or trade fodder. |

Hot Toys - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Sideshow Collectibles - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia On a side note, I'm surprised no one has created a 1/6th scale/12" appreciation thread yet. We seem to have a decent number of HT/Sideshow collectors on this site. |
