Here's the link, just scroll down to "THE ACTION FIGURE CASE™ for NEWER G.I. JOE'S AND SIMILAR" Heads up to you other Star Case peeps, I bought a BUNCH of these about two months ago, and they now fit the 2012 line without any problems. (They used to crush the angled corner on the left. I believe a version of Hags' clear figure holder is available on this page too, under "LOOSE ACTION FIGURE PREMIUM DISPLAY" Quote:

It takes a lot of effort to hunt efficiently. Nightly commutes to Walmarts takes it's toll on your whole life, and proves fruitless 98% of the time. Watching Target's website every morning before they open, getting up early enough to make it down there as they open, while easier, is still a LONG waiting game, and they always seem to restock on the one day of the week where you absolutely can't make it over there. TRU's "We have no way of knowing what's coming," is the worst. You basically have to be there at opening on the day the truck came in every single time they get a truck, and even then, employees are likely to pull stuff out while they're restocking. Hunting isn't easy anymore, and the LONG drought nearly killed the line in many ways. When I started, you could go to a random Walmart or Target, and maybe find something still on their pegs from a year eariler. It was a nice mix of the things in the line. Now, every place has the same tired wave and the same tired warmers. There's nothing new except restock, and restock hasn't been good since February. Still, there's something to be said for the returnability of retail. When those same Spidey figs you pulled off the shelf go on clearance for $3 each, you can buy them at the lower price and return them on the older receipt if you hang onto it. It's a waiting game that usually turns out in your favor. $11 a figure is a lot. I know we're used to it because we've been getting beat down during the hiatus, and we're willing to pay anything just to have new stuff now, but these figures really shouldn't be more than $6-8, especially when the ML figures are $15. We're quickly getting to the point that MU will be $15 each and ML will be $20, and I just can't justify it to myself. Maybe with Wave 19 I'll actually go through with my preorder, but I can't be sure. I feel better spending my money on toys in small increments, rather than $100 cases. Quote:

The jubilee derpy face I'd venture to say is a early production/qc issue, it's fixable, but I don't know if it will be fixed. The one I got outa the case is one of the better ones I've seen, but still not superb. The second one in the case looked like her right eye was melting off her face. Hasbro shoulda at least thrown us a bone, and made her glasses moveable, so as to cover that mess up. |

What's the word on the gigantic battle sets? There was nothing at the SDCC about Fin Fang Foom or anything else was there? Ironic considering the Superheli had pics of the Masters of Evil with a Whirlwind and a Bad Goliath - Bad Goliath being a no-brainer Hasbro friendly repaint option. |
Happy gunzilla day!

I emailed BBT because on their site they have the Ultimate Spider-man figure listed but if you read the description, it says that you could get one of ether version, the classic and the MM and that it would be randomly picked. So I messaged them to ask if there was any way of getting the classic Ultimate Spider-Man and not getting the MM version. I had already bought the case and have the MM. Could you guys help me out.
They responded with sorry but we never received the classic version..? So why they have the image of the classic version listed and say that you have random chance of getting it is kinda shitty if you ask me. I know people have ordered that thinking it was what the image showed, and others thinking it was random and bought it hoping it would be the classic. So has anyone here received a a classic version of the Ultimate Spider-Man from BBT? And what do you guys think? |
Has anybody seen the Anti-Venom K-Mart pack yet?
