Does anyone have the Target DCPI number for Guardians of the Galaxy figures?

Relena Warcraft 06-18-2014 05:47 PM

Anyone know if the All-new X-Men Marvel Girl looks good with Hope Summers' head? Kinda curious.

Still gotta finish Groot. Drax should be here tomorrow and then all I'll need is his right arm which will hopefully be here this week.

Where'd you find the Cyclops? I didn't know they were out yet.

Sorry for getting your hopes up dude. I got him from viperskingdom on ebay. I originally thought I lost out on him because I was outbid. But after the item ended the seller messaged me with a second chance to buy him for my original bid. I guess the seller had a few to get rid of.

redfox 06-18-2014 09:51 PM

Not going to lie. That pic got my hopes up, too. I love almost everything about this wave of figures.

'Derailer Alert!'

I was browsing good old eBay and found a repaint of Big Time Spidey and the figure in the auction looked sharp. Seeing as the RoML is in full swing now, and we've had 50+ figures to grade/ judge or what have you...which of the relaunch figs are the worst, and why?

Thanks for your opinions, and I'm sorry if this has been covered already...

Of the ones I've got, I'd say that Iron Man from Terrax Series. Feels like a bend-em.

I hate how wolverine is the same height as cyclops. I do love that cyclops though.

i thought they were both the same height mostly cause wolverine is slightly crouching when he stands

It looks like he has him crouched in the photo. I am pretty sure Cyclops is a foot taller than Wolverine.

NoodleChow 06-19-2014 11:15 AM

Yeah, Wolverine is supposed to be 5'3 or so. Almost everyone should be about a head taller.

VashTS 06-19-2014 11:22 AM

According to the movies wolverine is 6 3", with looks that drive the ladies wild. he keeps his chest hair nearly trimmed and keeps his drinking to a minimum.

So the Hasbro wolverine is accurate....and yes this its sarcasm.

The whole Monger series, now that I look back at it. Even though I have 9 Ultron's and 1 of each of the rest. I wish they had started. Earlier with the 'extras', like heads, fists etc. Even though Iron Patriot was just a repaint, it really would have been a hot seller with a Norman Osborn head. I also think Iron Monger itself should have been 8". Bleeding Edge is my favourite since the rebrand, but I still feel he's a bit short for a comic version.

All that being said, does anyone have their GotG Iron Man out of package to compare his size with any other well proportioned figure? I'm not sure about the base body and where it comes from, thanks in advance!

Here's hoping for a comic accurate box set one day, maybe something from an era that most collectors are familiar with...

it looks awfully like a re-paint of the bleeding edge armour just added a new head and shoulderpads oh and a new torso ...

If no one else gets to it I will do it when I get home but it is the same legs and torso, so I'd imagine it is the same height as the bleeding edge.

Charliegone 06-19-2014 04:24 PM

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up. It's cheaper to get the whole entire x-men set if you guys buy it on ebay from a seller called Jdawg. Get both the Magneto and Storm from him pay about 75 bucks for both (free shipping) and then head over to Dorkside to get the rest of the set in box. Got everything for 132 bucks. Cheaper that way instead of getting the whole which would probably cost you 130+10 dollar shipping. Just a heads up if anyone is interested.

I might just repaint Rocket for a more accurate Wolverine.
