The Spider-Man wave is the one I will be on the hunt for.

If the Doctor Strange wave taught me anything, it will definitely have its peg-warmers, being a one-off wave (rather than a standard tested one like Spidey, Avengers, or Cap).

That said, I figure Nakia will be the first off the pegs - between having the body of Okoye as her BAF part, and being the basis for probable army-building, she's got the most demand behind her. Following that, probably Namor and Black Bolt - both previously released as exclusives (though one was much easier to get than the other), and both have added appeal from the previous releases (alternate heads, and Namor's got his scaled undies and a better trident). I feel like Iron Man may linger the longest, since we've got a lot of Iron Man figures (most of them are MCU, but casual buyers might not be concerned about that) and he doesn't come with a BAF part.

I suppose only time will tell.

I think Black Panther will also sell really well. The Civil War version was hard to find at retail and the preorder for the 12" Legends BP figure has already sold out at BBTS. Not to mention the Walmart exclusive Black Panther sold out very quickly this summer. I also think Killmonger/Golden Jaguar will also sell just because he looks so similar to Black Panther. Iron Man may peg warm but he looks like a pretty solid figure with alternate hands, TS head, blast effects, and good paint apps.

I agree, but BP and Killmonger are also both packed two to a case. So even if they are hot sellers, I doubt they'll be very hard to find.

Well I guessed wrong about the Netflix wave... I thought that would sell well and the Ragnarok wave would pegwarm, but it was opposite. Pretty much only Thor, Loki and Odison Thor pegwarmed, but the rest sold really well. But the entire Netflix wave seems to be pegwarming.

Also... my LCS just got in the Black Panther wave, so I guess we will find out soon if that wave is full of pegwarmers too. All I know is it took a long time for retail to recover from the Antman wave and that was the last small-ish Marvel movie.

In my area both waves are pegwarming pretty hard right now save for a couple of figures from either wave. From the Netflix wave Blade and Jessica Jones are sort of uncommon (Blade more so) and in the Thor wave Hela and Ares are kind of the same. Every other figure though is just collecting dust, even the Jane Thor which I had assumed would move pretty well because of the "new and now" factor with the character has joined in on the peg sitting.

Im in Florida, and it is the same situation down here. I could drive to 2 Walgreens and piece both waves together.

Similar down here. For us, it's Loki, Thor, and Odinson that are pegwarming, with Hela and Jane popping up regularly, but not like those three. And, of course, Ares is nowhere to be found.

Meanwhile, most of the Netflix wave lingers on around here, with Blade being scarce, and Bullseye and Jessica being the ones that hang around, but aren't dependably found everywhere.

Not directly Marvel Legends related, but looks like we'll be getting some X-Men Movie Marvel Legends because the X-Men will be back with Marvel!

We don't know that for sure though. Until Disney gives the official announcement, nothing is certain.

Well, Fox HAS to sell, and Comcast is already out of the running.

There really isn't anything that says Fox HAS to sell, just that they plan to sell.

There also isn't a guarantee that the deal will be allowed to go through, either.

Coming soon...we hope...

And btw...say what you will about the movies, but this is still far and away my favorite version of The Thing put to plastic.

Yes indeed! It’s official, everyone is back home where they belong. Now I’m going to do what I ALWAYS do in the Legends forum and turn it into a Legends discussion. I can’t wait to add more MCU MARVEL LEGENDS to my display. Bring on Phase 4, and I’ll bring on a new Detolf case for my MARVEL LEGENDS

Harbinger 12-14-2017 06:17 AM

Hopefully now we can get a movie deadpool and negasonic fig. Hell maybe a movie angeldust....giggity.

SymbiSpidey 12-14-2017 08:06 AM

I can't freakin' believe it. The X-Men and F4 are actually back home.

I thought it'd be another 5-10 years before this would even come close to happening.

warmachine6 12-14-2017 08:29 AM

its a step closer, but apparently constantin productions has the rights to F4 and teamed up with Fox, though it would be silly if constantin productions does not allow to disney to use the F4. i saw it on article online.
But im glad the x-men are back at least , hoping F4 are officially back, now they need to get spidey back properly. (sony still own the rights)

According to Disney themselves, it seems like they already have the F4 back, if not, they're working on it:

The agreement also provides Disney with the opportunity to reunite the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool with the Marvel family under one roof and create richer, more complex worlds of inter-related characters and stories that audiences have shown they love.

https://thewaltdisneycompany.com/wal...billion-stock/

Either way though, yeah, Disney owns the distribution rights to the F4, so it's not like Constantine films can really do anything without Disney anyway.

I have not read all the schematics, just relying on others. This is both good and bad.

We all know why big corporations are evil. People will be fired left and right. There is still a chance it could be blocked, which imo, it HAS to be. Disney will own a vast majority of media companies. It scares me politically, as they have an almost limitless reach. Deep down I am pulling for the anti-trust to really take a close look here.

Somewhat great that toys will come out, but sad that some past toys for the X-Men movies will never be. I hope Diamond Select does some Fan4 stuff as soon as they can.

Bo Ttef 12-14-2017 09:50 AM

As long as the deal will lead to Marvel not treating Mutants and the FF as Outcasts in the comic world then I'm happy whether it leads to them being in the MCU or not.

I agree. It's worrisome that Disney would own such a large percentage of the entertainment industry. It's not like they're not already the biggest name in it already. They'll just get bigger.

As far as future films go I'm excited for X-Men in the MCU, but I'm really going to need the Dark Phoenix movie(s) first. After that, they're free to go and I'll be glad for it, as much as I do like most of the Fox Xmen movies.

The F4...no tears there at all. They need to be with MCU stat. Two "okay" movies and one that was a box office and critical disaster. Makes me wonder, if Marvel had had film rights to Doom and Kang in the beginning, would they have even gone the Infinity War/Thanos route? Thanos is a huge villain yes, but honestly Kang and Doom are just as big.

Also just realized, though I've never accepted the retcon myself, watch for Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver to go back to being mutants and Magneto's children in the comics again.

As long as they dont start banging ( bendis was more f'ed up than even i thought * whistles twilight zone theme* ) ill be good. Though i must admit i did like the idea of the whizzer ( childish beavis like snicker ) being their pop.

warmachine6 12-14-2017 10:27 AM

dont worry kids marvel has the reality gem , they can use that to "fix" issues or continuity, they could reboot it all , just sayin...
