Trifecta today! SW, Joes and MCU
 

Long story short version, my good friend Cyclopswc helped me out today. He helped me find Bludd and SW Clone Wars figures and Loki was alone by himself on the shelf. All the figures are great! I have another Loki coming from Pre-order. I might do a head swap with 1 of the MCU or ML extras I have. Do a Target run today if you are looking for anything.

I'm not a Star Wars collector, but I was at my local Target yesterday and they had all those guys on the back wall with the Neca/Funko stuff. Just FYI if some people don't look back there.

No picture, but I got 12 Hasbro figure stands from Pulse.

^ Those are ROSS finds right? I wonder how come ROSS has so many Wild Childs... every ROSS I go to has like 9 Wild Childs and only him.

I mean, just look at the guy :D Without a new AoA Sabretooth to sell with him (at the time he came out), originating from a short lived storyline and his general obscurity, it's no wonder stores can't get rid of him haha

I haven't seen Marvel Legends at Ross ever.

I found the Kong and plane set at Target last night. I really only wanted the creature pack, but I didn't expect to see this either haha.

Yep, that's right! Had no idea he was clogging pegs across Ross. My store just had two.

Yeah, I have no attachment to the character or the AOA storyline. I finally caved and picked him up because I realized that I could add him and my extra Psylocke (Kwannon) into my HOX/POX display as Sinister's Hellions.

Found a Cobra trooper and this Lego microfighter AT-AT vs Tauntaun set. I don't plan on army-building infantry troops but I picked this one up at least because it's kind of a neat look, well for an evil henchman. The AT-AT is built much better (more accurately) than the individually sold one from like 6 years ago, and the Tauntaun is so cute Luke probably named it Muffin.

The Cobra trooper looks like he stole new movie Sub-Zero's mask. The detail looks almost identical.

Odd, I thought Target wasn't selling these until Father's day?

Not at all, Sub-Zero's new movie mask is very ornamental and layered with different metal colors for the top and underlay which almost make it look ancient. The Cobra mask definitely has a Mortal Kombat vibe (especially with the angled lines on either side of the mouth) but it's a more streamlined, modern sci-fi aesthetic.

I think Luke named his Tauntaun "comforter".

The Cobra Infantry should be the model of how Hasbro should make army builders. As far as I can tell, no one complain that they couldn't find any. Most were able to get as many as they needed, yet they're not collecting dust on any shelves. Now if they could do the same for all the army builders. Or heck, dare I dream that they'll do some mid run paint app changes (skin tones around the eyes) creating different race/cultures for the troops. That'd be one paint variants that would be worth chasing after, then these peoples' Cobra Infantry squads wouldn't look like clone troopers.

^ I was watching a toy hunt video on youtube and this guy went to his local toy shop and they had Hasbro boxes of just Cobra Infantry... it said like Cobra Infantry x6 on the side of the box or something like that... so they are sending out cases of just the Cobra Infantry to some places. I thought that was pretty cool. The knife sticking upwards that high on the vest kinda bothers me though... I think it should be upside down so it is easier to grab.

Got a gun upgrade set from China for Kingdom Cheetor. I got it because Hasbro failed to include Cheetor's Gut Gun which is his Season 1 weapon not a tail whip. Sad thing is the gut gun is super loose in cheetor's hand

Initially I had no intentions of picking up this version Loki, but I just really couldn't say no seeing this guy on clearance so soon. Someone stole the Redwing parts, but I'm not building the wings so it kinda works out for me in the end.

Not clearance, just store discount for missing parts, returned item, etc. Which works out great sometimes especially depending on discount total.

My use of the phrase "clearance" in the original statement was actually more pointed towards the figure actually being located on the clearance row, and seeing the lone Disney+ Marvel Legends packaging with a bright yellow sticker from a distance caused me to physically sprint to the product peg. Once in sight and in-hand, is when I noticed the actual missing parts.

Semantics aside, this purchase was still quite the steal....*Ba Dum Tsss* :D:D:D

I'd like to think that they'll regret their theft especially since they didn't also steal the stand.

I got Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. Does anyone know who they are? Their true names are Carlo Pedersoli and Mario Girotti and in the Seventies and Eighties they did a bunch of Italian Western Comedies which are cult over here in Europe and especially in Germany.

Also Terence Hill lived in a village nearby my home-city Dresden when he was a child, during the war, and still speaks German very well. He also has an ice cream parlour with his own ice cream here in Dresden.

And now there are figures of them! I could not resist. So I am leaving the Delta Quadrant for the Wild West.
