you would probably need something similar to prof x jacket, that has waistcoat molded into the jacket.if you can find that in 6" scale would definitely work.i think us agent used a movie alfred pennyworth for his kingpin custom.

Thanks pilkster, those jackets need a little modifying to be able to work, too long and arm holes are too small.

I desperately want a Kingpin. This is great. Do you mind sharing the recipe?

No Problem jay.

WWE Rick Flair.....Jacket.

Heads up guys. Toys for the new animated Miles Morales Spider Man movie where at Meijer. Could not buy them because of stupid street date of 9/28. Anyway the SP//DR and Scorpion figure could work in our scale. SP//DR is an obscure version of Spidey that is a large suit of armor comes with Penni Parker who is just slightly out of scale, a little too animated, and a figurine, but could definitely work in the back ground. Scorpion is monstrous and appears to be some multiverse version I’ve never seen, but will scale ok with 4 inch. Of course the basic figures are the stupid 5 - 6 inch kids scale that animated Spidey has been in ever since the 4 inch 5 POA Spider Man line went away.

Thanks! I might be able to pull that off.

Nice. Thanks for the heads up, Jay!
I didn’t know of this line plus you gave us a street date.

They showed a Miles and Gwen at SDCC. I honestly thought they would be some store exclusives. Didn’t realize until I stumbled across them today there was a line. Basic figures are Gwen, Miles, Peter, and a Prowler. I think Kingpin is in the movie. It’s too bad they didn’t make him as he would have likely scaled perfectly with 4 inch. Kinda like I wish they would have made some of the Black Order in the 5/6 inch kids IW line as they would have likely scaled with 4 inch.

Once again undersized ML BAF plays into our hands. According to my calculations the Kree Sentry is too small for ML lineup while being almost exact size for MU figures.

Also while reading reactions to newly revealed ML Captain Marvel figures I noticed increasing amount of discontent, nitpicking, tiredness, those "meh" and "I'm skipping this wave" comments... It's in stark contrast to 3.75inch collectors which IMHO would welcome such movie line more enthusiastically.

Madame Warlock 09-18-2018 05:50 AM

i'll be really angry if we don't get a couple of 2 packs for it.

Frankly, nowadays I would be satisfied even with just a Captain Marvel/Nick Fury 2-pack. Anything more would be pleasant bonus.

As would i.

With the largest ensemble of characters and blockbusting sequel film for Avengers Infinity War, there was ZERO 3.75/4 inch figures.

And for Antman & the Wasp...NADA again.

i'd be seriously shocked if there even IS a 3.75/4 inch offering PERIOD.

Hasbro really isn't very smart. 4 inch fans are starving. I do not believe for a second that the under articulated 6 inch kids Infinity War line is a blockbuster. It peg rots everywhere. That level of sculpt and even that bad articulation and I think they sell just as many to kids and then the 4 inch collectors pick up some as well. So they are at least selling more.

And yes I want a super articulated line, but will take anything at this point.

Madame Warlock 09-18-2018 09:33 AM

Maybe they think the Disney sets are enough :/ I liked the Black Panther one for the Shuri especially as it was a lot better than nothing. But generally they tend to be undersized and aren't really as super detailed as they could be.

I'm not the least bit surprised. They're doing the exact same thing they did with ME era Joe figs. They flooded the market with product not only killing speculator interest but also overwhelming the actual fans that buy the stuff. There's a breaking point when it comes to collectibles and Hasbro often seems to lack the forward thinking philosophy of not killing the golden goose.

In the business world, in order to lack something, you have to hire that lack and then put it in charge.

Would that be where the word lackey comes from? ;)

CCC.
