Sunday delivery. Not just a Mcfarlane new head figure. 3 new weapons, new paint job, new helmet and armors. Only the base body is reused. I like it.

Iron Man Build A Bear wave
1 Attachment(s)
1st this is the Ursa Major wave aka Build a Bear Wave. Disappointed that they did not do a movable jaw for Ursa Major. Love the figure overall. Guardsman is better than I thought he would be. I can see some collectors army building for a Vault dio. Mod IM is very cool and very posable. Darkstar's hair style is not great. Makes it difficult to turn her head. She has several different hands which is good but she should have come with effects. Hologram IM looks OK. Wish it was a different armor. Ultron should be larger. The sculpting is very good. He could have used some blast or other effects. If anyone wants Ironheart, PM me with an offer no box or with box. Zero interest in the figure. Looks decent but no room on the shelf. Stealth IM is a good IM for the armory and comes with the Tony Stark head.

I ordered a case from dollar tree. These are really well done for a buck.

https://i.imgur.com/Qfom17E.gif Nice! I picked up Orko to go with my origins figures. The final faction toys are pretty cool too |
I went to pick up some final faction figs and the employee i talked to said a couple fat guys ( i knew immediately who she meant ) bought all the boxes of figs that morning. I go to the local antique mall and low n behold final faction figs case fresh for 15 bucks each. I swear i was one second away from smashing that case into pieces but i just left without buying anything and went out for a smoke. Gawd dayum scalpers are just pure, unadulterated scum!

I've had opportunities before to get each of these on sale but this was the first time that nothing else was competing so I finally got them, although I'm not sure the Overwatch pack's price had anything to do with prime day it's just been almost half off for some time now. |

Not so much what I just got, but what I just got back from my brother’s house. Brings back memories.

That's awesome. I only had a few small vehicles when I was a kid. I always wanted to go back and get more, but like most of the market now, too rich for my blood.
|
Was our first toy hunt to include multiple stores since March of last year, so we went a bit overboard.

Went to a local flea market today, mainly looking for vintage g.i.joe, none to be found. But just before I left I spotted a bin with some familiar looking boxes inside.
Now I've not purchased anything lego since the early 2000's, but I do still own most of my childhood sets from the 90's, and the aquazone aquasharks are among them. I had all the aquashark sets except for this one, which I vividly remember seeing in the old catalogs and on the shelves at the store back then. When I found out the price was just under the original retail and it was complete* I had to get it. Had a blast putting it together, it was a very nostalgic experience. This was the first time I've ever seen someone selling old sets like this, and I've been going to this same flea market for years. *Turns out it was missing one small piece, but thankfully I found a spare in my bags of bricks. |
Awesome toy serendipity story!

I'm not taking anything away from today's sets and the engineering behind them, but I just love love love those 90's sets.
I was buying the Aquanauts from that time as well. |

A few years ago while reorganizing the basement I rediscovered my childhood Lego, and I took the time to sort out all the parts by color and then took on the task of slowly rebuilding each set I had one or two at a time. I was really curious to see if they were complete, and to know what I actually had. This year I put together quite a few during some nasty power outages we had. It was a great way to pass the time and get my mind off the house getting colder as we waited for the electricity to come back on. |
