Yeah, that's true; the movie line's figures are taller. I love my Keaton Batman; it's like the definitive Batman for me personally and fits in scale with my MU/MI. Same with Reeves Superman. I'm curious if this new Catwoman will start showing up soon. Haven't heard much about it, wondering if they will reuse the Michelle Pfeiffer buck.

vindowviper 08-13-2015 05:12 AM

The Batman Beyond costume could also refer to not just the game, but the first episode where Bruce was still using the Beyond suit. I really like that old Bruce Wayne. Spot on!

It will be new tooling. She's probably going to be a beast to find when she hits walgreens, though.

Does anyone know if there's a decent Riddler in the 3.75 scale? The only thing I could find was the DC Superheroes one from Toy Biz.

Going back as far as Pocket Heroes in 1975 there is no 3.75 Riddler to my knowledge.

wonder why they did that. make the movie figures taller and arkham figures shorter. seems odd.

Probably 2 different people designing each.

If you don't mind me sharing a small story, I wanted Arrow and the Flash figures in the 3 3/4 inch scale from this line, as I am a fan of both shows. I felt insulted when Mattel switched the scale RIGHT WHEN THEY START MAKING ARROW AND FLASH FIGURES!

snake5289 08-13-2015 11:55 PM

It does seem like kind of a dick move on their part but it is was it is. No point in dwelling on things you can't change.

vindowviper 08-14-2015 05:16 AM

The advantage of the 1:18 scale is the balance between articulation, detail, and vehicles/playsets. It's sad that it is being abandoned at a time when it should be in full force.

Isn't 5 poa the articulation most Modern lines use now? MarVel, Star Wars...

I picked up three figures yesterday, Captain Cold, Merlin and Honesty from the I am Elemental line. Dislike it, dislike it, love it. I know my cash is going to that line and nothe the dollar store figuresfrom funko that are $2 more than than the elemebrakes figures

I still need these too. They have been a biotch to find so far. With the line being cancelled I hope these don't turn into super rare figures (unless I snag them first ha ha).

My thoughts exactly

deathofthelines 08-19-2015 12:04 AM

Finally got a killer croc set. Now if I can find deathstroke I'll be OK with the line dying

tlasjr 08-19-2015 09:06 AM

R.I.P. Batgirl

Was there any particular version you were looking for? I mean other than a comic version since the line had to cheat with Arkham variants for those.

Psycho Pirate 08-19-2015 03:10 PM

I think he meant the death of Yvonne Craig.

Oh...I am saddened by this.

deathofthelines 08-19-2015 04:23 PM

It's a damn shame. Another bat guy died this week too. The one in Baltimore that visited children in the hospitals out there was run over when he stopped to look at engine problems with his car.

Madame Warlock 08-19-2015 07:21 PM

That Flash with the ball jointed legs, what is that? Also is there any sort of a Hawkgirl in this scale?

Thinking about getting the Microman batgirl, I have the Batman...

Madame Warlock 08-19-2015 07:25 PM

I'm getting a bit depressed with my wimpy wonderwoman so i'm thinking of investing in the Injustice one. I think with two very simple 2 minute modifications - painting the crotch blue and headstar red, it would look like Diana and be a pretty neat figure. Can't find one loose and cheap atm though, should have picked it up. Wouldn't mind getting the pack with Grundy either that said.
