He showed me some art from an upcoming book, and then told me a secret about the story that was going on in the book at the time, and then swore me to secrecy. He handed me a stack of G.I. Joe comics that were sitting in his office and signed a few. I left in a daze. He took a few minutes out of his day and changed the course of the rest of my life. Last year, I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend sitting next to him at a G.I. Joe convention. It's one of the highlights of my career Are you an aspiring artist?
