Sorry - I've not really answered your question... I think that's not a bad price for the genuine BAF at the moment, but I expect the price to tank once an updated/alternative version of her is announced (see Ares, Man Thing, Juggernaut, etc...). |
Im sure that next spidey wave is due out within the next few weeks or so...
BRING ON THE Lizard baf !! |
Yeah I can't wait years for the character to be represented on my shelf. I've been waiting for a Jim Lee Jubilee since 1992 and so far the only figure in that costume has been a Minimate. I'm not getting my hopes up. I actually owned Jubilee before when it first came out and sold it for around $70 so I just made $6 haha.
When does the Deadpool wave drop? |

Just got Nakia, Okoye, BP and Killmonger. Not sure about Iron Man and Black Bolt Just yet.
Black Panther is good, thou I prefer slightly the CW version. My unmasked head face print is a bit off (actually a lot), but is a good figure overall. Nakia looks great, very close likenesses to Lupita which is great. The rings look great in pose, thou I would have prefer her thighs were not brown, as brown and orange kind of blend together. Killmonger is the great surprise, as his expression, sculpt and detail, plus the weapons makes him look a-mazing. But the star without a doubt is Okoye. Her face is flawless, like a mini hot toys but with mean expression. Her colours really pop up and contrast, and her weapons are very well made. All figures feel sturdy and are great to pose. I normally prefer comic figures but since the new face prints and the unique sculpts, the mcu figures are wowing more and more. I really hope we get Shuri in a two pack with Angela Bassett character (T'challa's mom, I think. I am loving the more diverse offerings from ML, from an all female box set to this four black characters in one wave. It makes for a far more eclectic and diverse collection. |

@Tomax: cheers, they look better in person. Pic was taken in iPad, which is not great.
@Boy Blunder: I don't care about Klaw so much to get a second figure, thou I must admit, he looks good. Comic Shuri looks good thou very much kitbashed. It would be a crime not to do a movie Shuri, as the design looks awesome. I just got this months Vanity Fair and the portfolio for the MCU is fantastic, and Shuri logos great. |

My point was that, you, of all people, someone who is obviously not tired of Wolverine figs with superficial cosmetic changes, nor beyond getting yet one more Batman or Deadpool custom/variant/rehash, should be able to stomach a few Panthers. How's the Darkclaw Batman/Wolverine custom coming along? ;) ...also know I'm joking with you, Ken. Why so suh-re-ous'? ;) |

With the Captain Marvel movie coming out in 2019 have any of you given any thought to what the associated wave of figures will look like? I personally used to love Carol, but ever since she started taking testosterone and became an angry lesbian stereotype, my enthusiasm for her, as well as the movie, has wained. Still though, there have been so many iterations of the character, as well as important and highly requested (well, some at least) supporting characters that a wave would be passable. I also think delivering a wave of entirely femsle characters without being a big old lesbian about it is good for the gender equality movement.
My picks are as follows; Binary Warbird (rerelease of the Target 3 pack version with whited out eyes) Ms. Marvel (Sharon Ventura) Mystique (Classic) Rogue (Brotherhood, with alternate modern head and ungloved hand) MCU Captain Marvel MCU Villian or supporting character(?) BAF: Destiny. Split her up into 5 pieces so you only have to buy the comic based figures to complete her. Head and Cape/Torso/Arms/Left Leg/Right Leg. I know it seems like I'm shoehorning in X Men characters unnecessarily into the wave, but they are actually all very important to Carol's story. Also, there are way too many XMen that need to be made, those three are nowhere near the top of the list. Supplemental two pack: Captain Mar-Vell/Classic Ms. Marvel (with alternate Dark Ms. Marvel head) What do you think? |

As far as the wave would go. It was have to be a full cosmic line up. Mar-vel, carol im sure they would reuse the old one that came out previously, hell maybe throw in silver surfer. |
I'm sorry but she is Carl Manvers now. I'm a huge fan of Capn Cummings and Diversity & Comics. I'm open to debate.
